SPAM unwanted or junk e-mail How do they get your e-mail? Companies purchase lists or use software to search for e-mail addresses. If you buy items online or participate in newsgroups or chat rooms connected to your e-mail address, they can be picked up. It is assumed that you don t want these e-mails and they are automatically send to a separate folder in your email. {SPAM
