HMI unit 560HMR01 Characteristics Application The 560HMR01 is a rack based human machine interface board of the RTU560 system. The essential tasks of the 560HMR01 are: Interface to RTUs that are running webserver and RTU560 Integrated HMI. It communicates via Ethernet LAN interfaces and provides interfaces to connect a local monitor, mouse, keyboard and audio Run Windows based operating system for RTU560 Integrated HMI The 560HMR01 takes two slots of the RTU560 rack. The connection from the 560HMR01 to the rack is done via a DIN 41612 F-connector. The microetxexpress module with an INTEL Atom CPU is the essential hardware part of the 560HMR01. All connectors (except power supply) are integrated in the front plate (see Fig. 1). The interfaces E1 and E2 are based on the Ethernet standard 10BaseT/100BaseT. The interfaces U1, U2, U3 and U4 are based on the USB 2.0 standard, type A. The connectors of the Ethernet and USB communication interfaces are provided as combined jack with one RJ45 jack and a dual USB 2.0 type A jack. The Audio interface provides a 2-channel High Definition stereo signal for use with an external active speaker system or a headphone. The connector of the VGA interface is integrated in the front plate The operating system of the 560HMR01 can be shut down or started by using the power switch. The power switch is buried placed behind the boards front plate. The power switch can be tripped through the drill in the boards front plate (to the left of the VGA connector) by using a suitable tool. An exchangeable 3V Lithium-battery buffers the 560HMR01 real-time clock in case the device is without power supply.
