TOP OF RACK 10/40G AND 25/100G PARALLEL OPTICS SOLUTION Top of Rack (ToR) distribution panel provides a 1U host for eight modules, each designed to hold a four lane MPO to 4 x LC duplex fanout. The modular design gives a front access, flexible solution, allowing storage of up to 5m of cable in each module and direct connection to MPO interface switches in a standard 19 profile. The ToR module provides intermediate LC patching positions, making it easier to reconfigure and manage adds and changes not available with single QSFP MPO to LC fan-out connections. ULTRA HIGH DENSITY SPIDER RIBBON CABLE CHASSIS SpiderWeb Ribbon (SWR ) is a bonded fiber ribbon technology that provides significant improvement in fiber cable package density. The technology consists of 12 fibers connected to each other by an intermittent UV-curable resin bond. The intermittent nature of the bond allows for the ribbon to be bunched and collapsed similar to a bundle of loose fibers. It also allows the ribbon to act as either a traditional ribbon for mass fusion splicing or to be easily broken out into individual fibers for single fusion splicing. The SWR solution includes Wrapping Tube Cable (WTC), sub-unitized cable, mass splicing tools, splice trays, panels and cabinets and stubbed, pre-terminated modules and panels. The SWR Splice/Patch Distribution Panel presented provides an 864 LC adaptor field. Pre-installed LC pigtails to 12f ribbon tails are assembled into ribbon splicing cassettes.
