Responsys Data Connector for Adobe Analytics 3 Responsys Data Connector for Adobe Analytics Integration Overview Describes the integration capabilities at a high level. Adobe Analytics provides an abundance of new targeting opportunities for email marketers using Responsys Interact. By delivering timely, relevant email messages to the dynamic marketing segments identified by Adobe Analytics (formerly SiteCatalyst) can drive increased conversion and revenue from both potential and current customers. For example, marketers can send an incentive via email to visitors who viewed a particular product or abandoned a shopping cart, encouraging them to return to the site and complete a purchase. The tight integration between marketing reports & analytics and Responsys Interact enables the automation, precise targeting, and closed-loop reporting of these remarketing campaigns, increasing the efficiency of email marketing efforts while boosting web site conversions and measurably improving overall ROI. Key Benefits Lists the main benefits of the integration of Adobe Analytics and Responsys Interact. Consolidate e-mail marketing and analytics data into one reporting interface. Optimize e-mail campaigns by conversion and contribution to revenue and site success. Re-market to key visitors and market segments based on cart abandonment, product purchases, product views, spanning current and historical data (up to 90 days prior to activation).

Integration Prerequisites 4 Integration Prerequisites Lists prerequisites for Adobe Analytics and for Responsys customers. Prerequisites for Adobe Customers Must be a current customer of Adobe Analytics. Must have Admin privileges. Must have 2 available and enabled evars within your report suite. Must have 6 available numeric events enabled within your report suite. Prerequisites for Responsys Customers Must be a current customer of Responsys. Must have purchased Interact Connect for Adobe Analytics.

Deploying the Integration 5 Deploying the Integration Deploying this integration is a simple process that requires the following actions: Completing the Adobe Integration Wizard Steps to complete the integration wizard in the Data Connectors interface. 1. Navigate to the Data Connectors (formerly Genesis) area within the Adobe Marketing Cloud. 2. Launch the Responsys integration wizard. 3. Choose the desired Report Suite and provide a name for the integration. 4. Configure the following items: Item Email address Description Account ID Description The primary contact's email address (Optional) Description for this integration setup Obtained by contacting Responsys Support Team at support@responsys.com 5. Configure the following Variable Mappings items: Item Message ID Recipient ID Total Bounces Email Sent Clicked Opened Unsubscribed Delivered Description Select an evar for collecting Message ID s in real time. Select an evar for collecting recipient ID s in real time. Select a numeric event to receive daily bounces from Responsys. Select a numeric event to receive daily sends from Responsys. Select a numeric event to receive daily total clicks from Responsys. Select a numeric event to receive daily total opens from Responsys. Select a numeric event to receive daily unsubscribes from Responsys. Select a numeric event to receive daily delivers from Responsys. 6. Enable data access and configure data collection. a) Rename classifications as needed. b) Partner segments are standard remarketing segments that are included in your integration. c) Under Access Requests, check the box to allow product information to be exported to Responsys in daily remarketing segments. d) Configure whether you will collect ID s by manually updating your Analytics collection code or by using the automated solution. If you select Automated Solution, you must include the parameters that are used in email links to pass ID s. 7. Review all configuration items and click Activate Now. Configuring within the Responsys System Activating the integration involves contacting Responsys Support. After completing the integration wizard, you must activate the integration within Responsys.

Deploying the Integration 6 To do so, please contact Responsys support team at support@responsys.com.

Verifying the Integration 7 Verifying the Integration After deployment, you should validate that the integration is successfully transferring data through the following checks. 1. View the integration activity log. a) In the Adobe Marketing Cloud, navigate to Support > Integration Activity Log. b) Look for entries like Classification Data imported successfully, Metrics Data imported successfully, and Metric Data exported successfully. These entries should appear within 1 day of successful deployment. 2. View your reporting data within Adobe Analytics. a) Navigate to Custom Conversion > Custom Conversion 1-10 > Message ID Reports. b) Look for Responsys reporting. This data should appear within 24-48 hours of successful deployment.
