Chapter 3 Explanation For Operation 3.1 Main Menu Fig3.1.1 main menu Fuction: Main Menu is the entrance of media playback, such as movie, music, picture, file management in this interface. Press the / key to select the function,press ENTER key to go into the item. Press output shortcut key,change disaplay mode among of NTSC-PAL-720P( LCD TV was suggested to use 720P YPbPr) In any page,you can press file, movie, music, picture key to enter into according page. 3.2 Video Play In main menu,select movie item,and press enter to enter into movie file list, or use shortcut key movie to enter into video preview page,as figure showed in Fig3.2.1 Fig3.2.1 movie item Fig3.2.2 video preview Movie preview page operation: In this page, press movie key again,can change your disk partition. Press stop key to stop preview. Press enter key to enter full screen playback. Press / key to choose movie, Press enter key to enter full screen playback. Full screen mode operation: Press Vol+/Vol- key to control the volume. Press mute key to enable or disable mute. When the movie is playing, press ENTER key or Info key to get the movie file information. Press key to play next movie. Press key to play previous movie. Press key to fast forward, fast rewind,play/pause. Press key to quit play and enter into movie preview page. 3.3 Music play In main menu select movie item and press enter to enter into music file list, or use shortcut key music to enter into music play, as figure show in fig3.3.1. 4

Press rotate key to rotate picture 90 clockwise. Press zoom key to do zoom in/out,when the picture is zoomed in,use / / / key to move picture. Press key to enter into picture preview page. 5
3.5 File List 3.5.1 Folder Operation In main menu choose file and press enter key to enter into file management page, or use shortcut key file to enter into picture play,figure as 3.5.1.1 Fig 3.5.1.1 file item Fig 3.5.1.2 file list In this page, press file key again to change your disk partition. Press key to next page. Press key to previous page. Press / key to choose file item, Press enter key to enter into file directory or play selected file. Press key to return to upper directory. 3.5.2 File Management Fig 3.5.2.1 file list Fig3.5.2.2 file selection Press / key to choose file, Press key to select the file, then there is a signal appeared on the right,as the figure showed in Fig3.5.2.1. If you press enter key again,the previous selection will be canceled. Press copy key to popup file fuction operation item,as figure showed in 3.5.2.2. In Fig 3.5.2.2 page,press / to choose whether copy or delete function,then press enter key to ensure. If you press copy key again, then copy or delete will be canceled, and it will return to picture 3.5.1.2. After select copy function, you will enter into Fig 3.5.2.3 page,press / key to choose copy directory,press enter key to start copy,as figure 3.5.2.4.(Note: copy directory and selected file could not in the same directory In picture 3.5.2.3 page, you can press copy key to cancel copy fuction,and return to management page. After delete fuction,the selected file will be deleted. 6

3.7 Software Upgrading Fig 3.7.1 software upgrading page You can copy the new firmware file (such as HM2010_1004.img)to the memory device, and plug into HM2010S device, find the file in file page, showed as fig3.7.1,and then press ENTER key to begin software upgrad. Attention: 1) During the whole upgrading, must keep the power ON. 2)The postfix img is dedicated to system firmware file. 8
