1. Introduction FLTOPS App is a documents distribution app for Flight Crew to view manuals and documents released by Flight Operations, Jet Airways that are unique to the organization. The FLTOPS App facilitates synchronization of the latest documents released at the FLTOPS Web Server. The synchronized documents information and its related files are stored locally for offline viewing. In addition to facilitating offline access of the documents and its related files the App also tracks and records the access activity for every document for each Flight Crew. This activity is also synchronized and updated in the FLTOPS Web Server to facilitate generation of reports for audit purposes. It is highly recommended to synchronize the FLTOPS App regularly to ensure the latest updates from the FLTOPS Web Server are available in the App. Please note that the FLTOPS App is not a document viewer and does not facilitate reading of documents. It relies on widely used third-party document reader or viewer Apps like Adobe Acrobat Reader, PDF Reader, GoodReader etc. to read the documents. FLTOPS App is currently available for ios and Android platforms but supports only tablet devices. The FLTOPS App is locked to display in Portrait orientation as it ensures high usability features and creates a suitable workflow. In addition the portrait mode is known to reduce eye fatigue. 4 P age

2. Installing FLTOPS App 2.1 Steps to download the App for Android Tablets 1. Access the FLTOPS website with the Tablet of your choice using the regular browser (Safari in ios and Chrome in Android) 2. Login to FLTOPS account with your login credentials 3. Select the FLTOPS App tab / link located in the menu bar 4. In the FLTOPS App page tap the Download the FLTOPS App for your android tablet button 5. A dialog will display the option available to access Google Play Store. Select the Play Store. This will take you to the Google Play Store page to install the FLTOPS App. Please note if you have setup to access play store directly in the settings on tapping the button it will directly take you to the FLTOPS App page in Google Play. 6. In the Google Play Store tap on Install, this will commence the installation of the App. You can follow the progress of the installation from Google Play Store. 2.2 Steps to download the App for ios 1. Access the FLTOPS website located at http://fltops.jetairways.com with the Tablet of your choice using the regular browser (Safari in ios and Chrome in Android) 2. Login to FLTOPS account with your login credentials 3. Select the FLTOPS App tab / link located in the menu bar 4. In the FLTOPS App page tap the Download the FLTOPS App for your IPAD button 5 P age

5. The button will open an installation dialog to confirm the installation. Installation Dialog The FLTOPS App has been set up for IOS Enterprise Distribution through OTA and is distributed via the FLTOPS main portal www.jetfltopsdocs.com. Hence on tapping the Download button for installing the app you will see the dialog box with the message www.jetfltopsdocs.com would like to install FLTOPS App. 6. Tap on Install, this will commence the installation of the App. 7. You will be able to view the installation progress in the Home Screen of your IPAD. On completion tap the icon to open the FLTOPS App. First Access Dialog The first time the App is opened, you will be prompted with a Untrusted App Developer warning. Do not worry as this pop up is displayed to inform you that the App is installed outside of the App Store. The FLTOPS app is developed and distributed by Webonautics a registered and verified Apple ios app developer. This dialog and message will be only displayed for the first time. 8. Tap Trust to open the App. Note: ios 9.0+: If you have recently upgraded your device to ios 9.0 the Enterprise and other certificates have to be manually trusted (i.e.) the popup will not provide an option to trust the certificate. In order to add the Enterprise Certificate to the trusted list please follow the steps: a. Open the Settings app b. Open General c. Open Profiles & Device Management d. Choose the affected profile (Webonautics under Enterprise App) and trust it e. If you don't see Webonautics under "Profiles" then your device needs to reinstall the app. 6 P age

3. Login / Authentication FLTOPS App requires Flight Crew member to log in with the FLTOPS specific credentials to access the documents. 3.1 Steps to Login 1. Tap the FLTOPS icon to open the App, the launch screen will prepare the App to open the FLTOPS App login screen 2. Enter your Employee Id provided by the organization 3. Enter your Date of Birth in the format ddmmyyyy (Example: 12021978 for 12/02/1978) 4. Enter the Password 5. Tap the Login button Note: Logging in with the credentials is required for the first time and is not required for each use of the FLTOPS App. However, if the Logout action available within the FLTOPS App has been performed, for the specific account, the credentials will have to be re-entered to access the documents. 8 P age

3.2 Forgot Password The Forgot Password link enables to retrieve your account details. On tapping the link the Forgot Password Screen will display a form. Steps to retrieve account details 1. Enter your Employee Id 2. Enter your Official Email Address 3. Tap Send button; the App will send the account credentials to your official email address. 9 P age

4. Check-in Workflow The check-in workflow prepares the App for the access of documents in online OR offline mode. It also prepares your App for Synchronization of documents and activity records. 4.1 Welcome / Check-in Screen The Check-in screen is the first screen displayed after logging in for the first time and each time the App is opened. This screen prepares the App for access to track activity based on the device being online OR offline. In addition the Welcome / Check-in screen displays A. FLTOPS Disclaimer policy B. 4.2 Offline Notification Screen The Offline Notification screen is visible when the device is offline. It is displayed after the Welcome / Check-in screen to alert offline status of device and to inform you that FLTOPS App will not be synchronizing the contents. 4.3 Setup Screen FLTOPS App requires to SYNC ALL documents from the FLTOPS web server. This is a one-time setup and MUST be completed. The Setup screen is only visible when the FLTOPS App is accessed for the first time and until all the existing documents are downloaded. It synchronizes the documents and downloads all the related files for each documents and manuals in preparation for access when the device is offline. 11 P age

4.4 File Check Screen The File Check screen will be visible only if the files have been skipped when synchronization was disrupted or cancelled. It may occur due to connectivity problems or issues with the file. The App will attempt to download the files again. However, if there is an issue with the original file residing in the FLTOPS Web Server the file will not be downloaded and the Report File button will be displayed. Tapping the Report File button will send an email to the Document Stakeholder to re-upload the file. Note: A file may not download for two reasons - 1. Connectivity Issues or Disruptions 2. File is corrupt 12 P age

4.5 Documents Confirmation Screen FLTOPS requires to confirming/acknowledging the release of a document by ticking a check box before accessing the document files. The Documents Attention screen lists documents which require confirmation by ticking and indicating the acknowledgment of the document in the FLTOPS App. 13 P age

The FLTOPS Home Page is displayed after the Check-in Workflow. 5. FLTOPS Home The home screen of FLTOPS App is divided into 2 sections. 1. Current Time Widget 2. Recent Documents 5.1 Current Time Widget The time widget shows 2 time zones, the first is the standard IST time in Mumbai India, while the second is the UTC time. 15 P age

You can use the Find the Current Time search form to view the time of any location. A history of locations searched will be available for reference under the Cities Searched block located below the form. This will allow you to select any City from your search history to view the time. 5.2 Recent Documents The Recent Documents section lists out the latest five documents released by the FLTOPS Admin. 16 P age

6. Top and Bottom Action Bars On completion of the Check-in Workflow the FLTOPS App provides access to the Top and Bottom Action bars. This is available throughout the App once the Home Screen is visible. 6.1 Top Bar The Top Action Bar located at the top consists of the Documents Menu, App Status Message Tab and ad the Search Tool. 1. Documents Menu The Documents Menu icon is located to the left in the top bar. On tapping the Documents Menu icon a push panel opens displaying the folder/category structure under which the related documents are grouped and listed. 2. App Status Message The Status Message Tab located next to the Documents Menu indicates the current Screen Status, Sync Status or the Last Synced date 17 P age

3. Search Bar The Search bar helps to search for documents 6.2 Bottom Action Bar The Bottom Action Bar is located at the bottom and displays the App Menu tabs. The App Menu Tabs available are: HOME: The page visible after Check-in NEW: Listing of all NEW unread documents with the tab displaying the counter badge for unread documents MODIFIED: Listing of all MODIFIED unread documents with the tab displaying the counter badge for unread documents 18 P age

TICKED: Listing of documents that have been marked for confirmation of release; if there are any documents that are pending confirmation the counter badge will indicate the number STARRED: List of your favourite / starred documents HISTORY: A history of read/accessed documents via the FLTOPS for the past three weeks PILOT REP.: This is the Pilot Report form PROFILE: The Profile tab allows changing account password, updating contact details, profile photo and changing app background photo ALERTS: Displays messages related to the AUTO SYNC activity of the App LOGOUT: Logs out of the FLTOPS Account 19 P age

7. Auto Sync The FLTOPS App downloads all the latest updates automatically when the App is opened in online mode. As soon as the Check-in workflow is completed the FLTOPS App commences the Auto-Sync process. The auto sync page loads in the background. You can continue to browse and read other documents while the new or modified documents are downloading. The App Status Bar will display a message if there are documents that are being synced. 7.1 Auto Sync and Download Progress The sync icon / button located in the App Status Bar will allow viewing the download progress page. Tapping the icon will open the Auto Sync and Download Progress screen with the list of latest updates from the FLTOPS Web Server and the download status for each document. Synchronizing Documents The FLTOPS App syncs the documents automatically when it detects that the FLTOPS Web Server has new updates. These updates could be new document releases or modification to existing documents. Note: As soon as a new document is issued or an existing document is modified if the device is online a push notification alert is triggered and sent to the device. The Auto Sync process starts downloading the documents. If it detects that a file is partially downloaded or skipped due to connectivity issues or corrupt file the App will attempt to download once again after all the other documents have completed the download process. 20 P age

The Auto Sync screen will be active and commence the sync process only if the device is connected online. In order to receive the updated manuals and new documents released at the FLTOPS Web Server it is recommended to connect the device online and Sync the FLTOPS App with the FLTOPS Web Server frequently. Note: Regular synchronization will ensure that the documents and files in your device are current and upto-date. It will also Sync all your activity used for report purposes. 21 P age

8. Documents The documents can be accessed in the FLTOPS App once the Check-in Workflow is completed and the Top Bar is active. The Documents Menu Icon located on the Top Bar provides access to view documents grouped under each folder / category structure. The counter in the menu indicates the number of documents NOT READ in each category. 22 P age

8.1 Document Listing On selecting the category of your choice the FLTOPS App will list the documents released for the selected category. The filters tab available for the category view will allow to view all, new or modified documents. 1. ALL: The ALL counter indicates the total number of new or modified documents not read in the selected category 2. NEW: The NEW counter indicates the number of new documents that are not read 3. MODIFIED: The MODIFIED counter indicated the number of modified documents that are not read 8.2 Marking documents as favorite The star icon (refer number 4 in the screenshot below) allows to mark a document as favorite. allow you to easily group the documents you access regularly under the STARRED tab in the App Menu. 8.3 Viewing the files Each document may contain single file or multiple files (files in parts). Tap the document title to toggle and view the file/s. The document information block is revealed on tapping the document title. Along with viewing the files the information block displays if the document has been marked with the confirmation (i.e.) required an acknowledgement / confirmation of release. A tick (refer number 5 in the screenshot below) mark indicates the acknowledgement status for a document. 24 P age

The View / Copy tab (indicated by number 6 in the screenshot above) allows to opening the file in thirdparty apps like Adobe Acrobat Reader, PDF Reader, GoodReader etc. Note: Each time you open the file using the View / Copy tab it creates a copy of the file in the third-party App s native folder. In order to avoid having multiple copies of the same file do not use the View / Copy tab for a previously copied document. The notes area (indicated by number 7 in the screenshot above) allows entering reference notes for each document. The notes entered in your App will only be available to you. Note: The notes will be available only in the FLTOPS App as it will not be shared OR synced back to the FLTOPS server. 25 P age

All documents that have been accessed or opened using the View / copy can be distinguished by the lighter shade of blue for the title block. 26 P age

9. New The New tab in the App Menu groups together all the New released documents which have not been read. The Counter in the New Tab indicates the number of new documents which have not been read. 27 P age

10. Modified The Modified tab in the App Menu groups together all the documents that have been modified and have not been read. The Counter in the New Tab indicates the number of modified documents which have not been read. 28 P age

11. Ticked FLTOPS requires you to confirm/acknowledge the release of a document by ticking a check box before accessing the document files. During the Check-in process the Attention Screen provides you with a onestep option to tick all the documents that require acknowledgement for the release of the document. The Ticked tab will enable to view all the documents you have confirmed by accessing it via the Ticked tab in the menu. In the event of Auto-Sync while browsing the App a counter in the Ticked tab will indicate the new documents that require acknowledgement. 29 P age

12. Starred The Starred tab allows accessing all the documents that you have chosen mark as favourite by tapping the star icon. Marking a document with a star enables you to access documents quickly without having to search. 30 P age

13. History The History tab enables to view the documents read/accessed via FLTOPS APP. Here you can view your document activity for the past 22 days. The History tab groups the documents in chronological grouping of Today, Last 7 days, and Older (within 3 weeks). 31 P age

14. Pilot Rep. The Pilot Reports is an important input for Flight Operations Support Services, Training & Line Operations to quickly establish the errors / corrections required in existing processes, thus optimizing operations. A Pilot Report can be submitted via the FLTOPS App. On selection of the Pilot Reports icon from the App Menu the App displays a form with various fields requiring input. It also has a feature to directly click a photo OR select a photo from the device gallery for submission. 32 P age

14.1 Online Submission When the device is online the Pilot Report is submitted immediately on completing the form and tapping the Submit button. 14.2 Offline Submission A Pilot Report form can be entered and saved when the device is offline. To actively submit the form it has to be connected online and sent to the FLTOPS Web Server. This usually happens when the App is opened again when the device is online and the Check-in button is tapped in the Check-in / Welcome Screen. Important: An offline report will not be submitted unless you Check-in when the device is online! 33 P age

15. Profile You can change your account details and personal details by tapping the profile icon. 15.1 My Account Tab The My Account tab allows you to change the password for your FLTOPS account. It is important to note that changing the password in the App will also change the password for the Web Access of FLTOPS. 34 P age

15.2 My Information Tab 1. Update Personal Details The My Information tab allows you to update your contact details 2. Change your photo You can upload your photo by clicking a photo OR selecting a photo from the device gallery 3. Customize App Background The Personal tab also allows you to personalize the App by changing the background photo for the App. 35 P age
