It also provides gateways between the serial interface and the fieldbus systems supported by the WAGO- 0. No higher protocol level is required by the module. Communication is completely transparent to the fieldbus master, which provides a wide range of applications for the serial interface module. If required, communication protocols can be configured via fieldbus master. The 0-byte input buffer provides for high data transmission rates. At lower transmission rates, the data received in lower priority tasks is evaluated without data loss. The -byte output buffer provides fast transmission of larger data strings. The module can be configured via WAGO-I/O-CHECK or GSD files. Flexible baud rate and data width selection enable easy adaptation to applications. Compatible with the following couplers/controllers (SW=software): 0- (SW ), 0- (SW and only for -byte mode), 0- (SW ), 0-0 (SW 0), 0-0 (SW 0) and 0-9 (SW 0) (additional couplers/controllers upon request) RS- / RS- configurable 0- RS- / RS- configurable/t 0-/0-000 (Operating temperature -0 C... 0 C) WAGO-I/O-CHECK, RS- kit 9-0 plain -0 with marking see Full Line Catalog 00/0 Volume, Section Transmission channels TxD / RxD, full duplex, half duplex or bit data, or stop bit Baud rate 9,00 baud (default setting) 00 baud...,00 baud Bit transfer RS-/-: ISO / N 9 - ; RS-: EIA/TIA--F Line length RS-/-: max. approx. 000 m twisted pair, RS-: max. 0 m Buffer 0 bytes in / bytes out Current consumption (internal) ma Voltage supply via system voltage DC/DC 0 system/supply Internal bit width x / x / x bytes in/out (parametrizable), bytes control/status CAGE CLAMP 0.0 mm².... mm² / AWG...... 9 mm / 0. in mm 0 g 0 Series Conformity marking

In cyclic data transfer, up to bytes of I/O data are transferred for the AS-I line binary data. Free cyclic process image areas can be mapped with analog values. Furthermore, analog signals and all other commands and data of the new AS-I specification can be transferred in a management channel via the fieldbus. Diagnostics, which go far beyond the AS-I specifications, simplify the detection of both sporadic configuration errors and AS-I communication interferences. An auto-installation mode allows an AS-Interface network to be created via sequential slave installation, with no addressing tool required. The PROFIsafe address can be set using the P switch on the side of the module, or via WAGO-I/O-CHECK. The modules support both PROFIsafe V (PROFIBUS) and V (PROFIBUS, PROFINET) protocols. Individual input modules can be arranged in any combination when configuring the fieldbus node. To protect the module against surge voltages (over-voltage protection acc. to IEC 000--), the filter module 0- or an external surge filter must be used the V supply voltage.
