This instruction manual contains useful information on appropriate use and maintenance of this product. In order to benefit from its features, read this manual before first use and save it for further reference. Easy to operate Two-way USB port, plays and charges at the same time 90 day warranty APPLICATION AND SETUP You ll need to download the AlarmDock application. For Android s go to the Google play store. For iphone go to the itunes App Store. Type AlarmDock into the application search field, then look for AlarmDock by Silent Call Communications. Once you ve downloaded the application, you ll need to open it to setup your alarm settings and to pair the wireless bed shaker. To use the AlarmDock application one device at a minimum must be paired for it to work. See application requirements under smartphone application requirements above. 6

2 BED SHAKER, MODEL # VIB-PJ, 5 YEAR WARRANTY Best placement for the bed shaker is under the mattress, between the mattress and box spring. Place in a spot that would be closest to your upper back. Once in place, plug the bed shaker into the end of the Shaker Module input jack. Plug the Shaker Module into the USB charger cube, then plug the USB charger cube into the 120 volt wall outlet. Very important DO NOT USE ANY OTHER MANFACTURERS BED SHAKER WITH THE Shaker Module, IT COULD DAMAGE THE SHAKER MODULE AND VOID THE WARRANTY. 4 USB CHARGER/POWER CUBE, MODEL # 890010, 1 YEAR WARRANTY The USB charger Cube is designed to power and charge up to four devices at one time. Charge devices like the AlarmDock wireless speaker stand, cell phones, & tablets. It also powers the wireless bed shaker module. 3 BED SHAKER MODULE, # AD200-SM, 90 DAY WARRANTY Plug the wireless bed shaker module into the USB charger cube. Plug the USB charger cube into a 120 volt wall outlet. The USB charger cube will keep the Shaker Module powered and ready to activate the bed shaker. When the Shaker Module is in range, approximately 30 feet from your smartphone it will automatically pair itself to the smartphone. A blue light on the Shaker Module will light up and flash on & off when ready to be paired. When paired the blue light will stay steady, no flashing. SHAKER MODULE SETUP AND PAIRING Plug the bed shaker jack into the jack input at the end of the Shaker Module. Next plug the Shaker Module into the USB Charger Cube and plug the USB Charger Cube into any 120 volt outlet. Make sure the jack on the bed shaker is pushed all the way into the Shaker Module. Place the bed shaker between the mattress and box spring of your bed. For best result, place the bed shaker under the area where your upper back would be positioned when in bed. PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BED SHAKER Bed Shaker Pairing: Once your smartphone is in range of the Bed Shaker approximately 30' or less the Bed Shaker will automatically pair with your smartphone. A blue flashing indicator light will flash on the Shaker Module stick and will change to steady lit no flashing when paired. If the blue LED is still flashing, you ll need to turn on the Bluetooth setting in your phones settings. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/tv technician for help. ALARMDOCK APPLICATION SETUP ICONS (LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE APP) There are five icons located at the bottom of the application, below we explain each individually. Connect icon (pairing the wireless bed shaker/vibrator Shaker Module) Connect icon (pairing with AlarmDock wireless cradle) Alarm Icon Tap on the Alarm icon, then tap the + at the top right corner to setup an alarm. Follow the app instructions. Here you can set multiple alarms, repeat the alarms with days of the week selections. You can name the alarm with labels, select the sound type, volume control, tone control, and select an alarm fade option from 10 seconds to 5 minutes or none. Timer icon Tap the Timer icon to set a timer. Clock Icon with Swipe to Dim Feature Tap on the Clock icon swipe on the display screen in either direction to select from eight different display colors. Once the color has been selected you can dim the display by swiping left to right or top to bottom. Settings (located at the bottom right-hand side) To leave the clock display, tap anywhere on the screen. Tap settings to see all the choices available. Adjust the volume, vibration strength. Select how you want to be alerted, Sound, vibrator or your phones flashing light. Adjust the snooze duration from 5 minutes to 50 minutes, and select the preferred time format 12/24 hour. Warning: Changes or modifications made to this device not expressly approved by Silent Call Communications may void the FCC authorization to operate this device. Note: The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV interference caused by unauthorized modifications to this equipment. TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS Please read this User Guide carefully before using your wireless speaker. Check this list for a possible troubleshooting solution before calling for service. The built-in lithium battery may be drained. Charge the battery by connecting the USB charger. Make sure your wireless device is properly connected to the speaker. Make sure that the volume level of your AlarmDock device is not set to the minimum. Make sure that the volume level of your wireless device connected to the speaker is not set to the minimum. Make sure that your wireless device is not muted. Make sure that your stereo audio cable is not connected to the AUX IN jack of the speaker. Make sure that the AUX cable is undamaged and firmly connected to the AlarmDock device. Make sure that the volume level of the speaker is not set to the minimum. Make sure that the volume level of the connected external device is not set to the minimum. When the battery is low, the indicator light will turn red and an alert will sound. Use the USB cable for charging. Wireless connection cannot be established Wireless Shaker Module won t stop flashing Sound, vibration or flashing light not working Wireless vibe/bed shaker too weak or not working Make sure that the audio cable has been removed from the AUX IN jack of your wireless speaker. If the connection fails when making a wireless connection between the speaker and your wireless device for the first time, turn off your AlarmDock unit, then turn it on again to clear the device name, then try the connection again. Turn on your Bluetooth setting in your phones settings. Also make sure your phone is in range, 30' or less. Go to the app settings icon and turn on the alert. Go to settings and slide the vibration slider to the right. Check that the Bed Shaker plugged in all the way to the Shaker Module. Make sure that the Shaker Module is plugged in all the way on the power/charger cube. The internal battery is drained. Charge the battery or connect the USB charger and turn on the system again. 11 12
