AWARD Speed Accuracy Interoperability TOP PERFORMER PRODUCT SHEET Minex III FpVTE PFT II FRVT Match on Card Secure fingerprint verification directly on the card

WWW.INNOVATRICS.COM MATCH ON CARD Our solution provides a flexible and secure solution for 1:1 fingerprint verification directly on the card (with up to 10 fingerprints per card). Available on Java and.net cards or as a native implementation for smart cards with any other OS. Innovatrics MoC (Match on Card) solution dramatically improves the security of smart-card authentication by storing fingerprint data directly on the card, thereby eliminating any need for the user to enter a PIN. The solution can be implemented at any time in a smart card authentication lifecycle whether during an existing deployment or when planning for a new one. Key benefits CERTIFICATIONS Ranked among the most accurate algorithms tested in MINEX II by NIST. PIV COMPLIANT US Government s standard PIV (NIST SP 800-76-1). JAVA CARDS AND.NET CARDS Available also as a native implementation for smart cards with other OS. SMALL FOOTPRINT Lightweight solution able to run on cards with limited hardware performance. COMPATIBILITY Designed to work with ANSI & ISO SDK and other SDKs from the Innovatrics portfolio. FULL DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE With ready-to-use solution. 2 MATCH ON CARD

PIV COMPLIANT IN NIST MINEX II Innovatrics Match On Card Technology attains PIV compliance in MINEX II test. HOW IT WORKS MINEX II is a benchmark that assesses fingerprint Match on Card technology. This benchmark is performed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Innovatrics is the only provider which passed the performance requirement with both JAVA Card and.net Card technologies. Match on Card technology combines biometrics with smart card technology and enhances the security of the traditional cards. The main difference between a traditional biometric process and a MoC process is location. The smart card is equipped with a Match on Card client applet that is able to save enrolled fingerprint ISO CC templates directly on the card and also process the matching directly on the card. This means that the fingerprint template is locked on the smart card, providing enhanced privacy by allowing the cardholder verify their identity without the fingerprint template leaving the card. Template format Fingerprint templates sent to the Match on Card applet are formatted according to the ISO 19794-2 standard, with CC encoding. We recommend using Innovatrics ANSI & ISO SD in order to create a template compatible with Match on Card applet requirements. MATCH ON CARD 3

WWW.INNOVATRICS.COM To perform verification, the user presents the card to the reader and places their finger on the scanner in order to create a fingerprint image. With ANSI & ISO SDK, the fingerprint template is extracted and sent to the card for matching. Fingerprint scanner Fingerprint image ISO CC template Client applet MoC applet scanning ISO CC template extraction send verify matching score Data unlock Error message match no match Threshold Enrollment with template extraction During enrollment, the ISO CC fingerprint template is extracted and stored on the card. For this, mobile scanning devices or PC scanners can be used. These devices must be equipped with an ISO CC extractor SDK (e.g. ANSI & ISO SDK). This extractor generates the fingerprint template to be stored on the card. Verification A similar process is performed during verification. The user submits their fingerprint in order to generate the ISO CC template, which is sent to the card. The Match on Card applet carries out verification and provides a similarity (matching) score. Based on a set threshold, the client applet determines if there is a match or not and responds accordingly. 4 MATCH ON CARD
