ADP Vantage HCM: General Navigation ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers This is a high-level look at the various navigation features associated with ADP Vantage HCM. The features available are dependent upon your job role and the task you are performing. Login Page When accessing ADP Vantage HCM, there are two login choices: user and admin. The following image shows the user login screen. To login as a user, do the following. Step Action 1 In the User ID field, enter your user ID. 2 In the Password field, enter your password. 3 Click Login. The ADP Vantage HCM Home workspace is displayed. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. The following image shows the administrator login screen. ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers To login as an administrator, do the following. Step Action 1 Click Admin Login. The Admin login screen is displayed. 2 In the User ID field, enter your user ID. 3 In the Password field, enter your password. 4 Click Login. The ADP Vantage HCM Home workspace is displayed. Basic Page User Interface The ADP Vantage Home page displays valuable information about your company. The information displayed is dependent upon your rights and permissions. The following image shows administrator sample Home page with key function groups. The following sections describe each of these function groups. Privacy, Legal, Feedback, and Copyright At the bottom of each page, you can view legal, privacy, and copyright information, described below. Button Privacy Legal Requirements Product Feedback Description The Privacy link allows you to view the ADP Vantage HCM Privacy statement. The Legal link allows you to view the ADP Vantage HCM Terms and Conditions of Use statement. The Requirements link allows you to view the ADP Vantage HCM system and technical requirements. The Product Feedback link allows you to provide feedback about your experience with ADP Vantage HCM. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 4 of 33

Preferences, Support, and Logout The tools in the top-right corner of each page provide access to preferences, support information, and the Logout function. The following image shows the location of Preferences, Support, and Logout. Preferences By clicking Preferences, you can manage your contact information, security information, and language settings. The following sections describe each of these actions. Communications Tab Starting Point: Home > Name Field > Preferences > Communication On the Communication tab, you can manage: Your work and personal email addresses. Select one email address to use for all notifications. Your phone numbers by storing up to 12 phone numbers/phone types, such as office, cell, fax, and pager. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 5 of 33

Security Tab On the Security tab, you can manage your passwords and security questions. The following image shows the Security tab selected. Starting Point: Home > Name Field > Preferences > Security > Password Step Action 1 Click Preferences > Security. The Password page is displayed. 2 In the Current Password field, enter your current password and press Tab. 3 In the New Password field, enter your new password and press Tab. 4 In the Confirm New Password field, enter your new password again and click Submit. Starting Point: Home > Name Field > Preferences > Security Step Action 1 Click Preferences > Security > Questions. Language Tab On the Language tab, you can select language and locale. The following image shows the Language tab. Starting Point: Home > Name Field > Preferences > Language Step Action 1 Click Language. The Language & Locale page is displayed. 2 Click the down arrow to open the Language & Locale choice list. 3 Select the desired language. 4 Click Save to retain your selections. Click Reset to return to the company s default language. Support & Information Page By clicking Support, you can view your company s contact and resource information. Contact Support houses contact support information, such as phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses. Resource Center houses client-specific content, such as training documents, links to company websites, and procedural documents. Note: For online Help, click the help (questions mark) icon. Menus and Activity Options Menus and activity options vary depending on your assigned role and security. The following image shows the placement of the basic menus. The following table summarizes the menus. Menu Role Description All All Employee Manager Use this menu to access the ADP Vantage Home page. Use this menu to access information about your company, such as policies, procedures, forms, resources, and FAQs. Use this menu to access the time workspace for entering your time and submitting time-off requests. Use this menu to manage time for your employees. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 9 of 33

Buttons/Icons ADP Vantage HCM has many buttons and icons within its interface. The following image shows a few of these buttons and icons. ADP Vantage HCM has many buttons and icons within its interface. The following table lists examples of the buttons and icons. Button/Icon Description The Add (+) button enables you to add a record, option, or entry. The Delete (-) button enables you to remove a record, option, or entry. Select the appropriate row(s) prior to clicking Delete. The action (greater than) icon enables you to view a list of additional activities or options. The Reveal link enables you to unmask personal information, such as Social Security number, bank account number, credit/debit card number, driver s license number, date of birth, age, and compensation. Click Save to save changes you have made to a page. Click Reset before clicking Save to discard any changes to a page. The help (question mark) icon enables you to view online Help, which provides instructions on how to complete the various tasks within ADP Vantage HCM. Messages, Calendar, and My Profile The menu bar contains icons for several useful tools including Message Center, Calendar, My Profile. Your rights and permissions determine which tool icons appear. Message Center Starting Point: Home > Message Center Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 11 of 33

By clicking the Message Center icon, you can open a quick view, which displays up to five new, inprogress, or completed messages. The following table lists the icons that represent the message types. You can search your messages by clicking Search. Starting Point: Home > Message Center ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers Messages are sorted by message type and then by creation date. Click the subject field to view the message summary. Click Action to review, approve, or reject a message, or to view the message history. The action options depend on the message type. By clicking the calendar icon, you are able to view: The employee schedule calendar includes your work schedule. The company calendar includes holidays and special events. Select a date or advance to a future month to view additional the calendar information. In addition, you can view the full calendar. In the full-calendar view, you can view the employee and company calendars on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. In addition, you can select a date range. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 14 of 33

My Profile Starting Point: Home > My Profile By clicking the My Profile icon, you are able to view your basic information, also known as your business card. This includes your name, employee ID, job title, employment status, department, location, manager s name, email address, work-phone number, cell-phone number, and picture. In addition, you can access the organizational chart. Global and Advanced Search The search area provides two types of search: global and advanced. Click the magnifying glass to access the filter fields. ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers Global Search The Global Search field allows you to locate contact information for the employees in your company. This field is a predictive search, which means as you type, the search results narrow. Search criteria for the Global Search field include the following items: The field is not case sensitive. The field uses starts with logic, which means if you type tom, the search result displays all first and last names that begin with the characters tom. If you enter a last name and then a comma, the search will look for last names only. If you enter a comma and then a first name, the search will look for first names only. Valid input is A-Z, a-z, 0-9, commas, spaces, and dashes. To use Global Search, do the following. Step Action 1 In the Search field, enter the keyword. 2 Click an action. ADP Vantage HCM: Menus ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers Use the ADP Vantage HCM Time & Attendance menus to perform tasks such as manage timecards, approve timecards, and so on. The following image shows Home, My Company, Myself, and My Team menus. The image includes the time workspace with the Timecards widget in the primary position. Myself Menu Use the Myself > Time & Attendance menu to access the your time workspace, which may include your timecard or timestamp views, calendar, and accruals information, if applicable. In this example, the Time & Attendance options include Inbox, Time Workspace, Leave, Attendance, Reports, Availability & Sign-up, and Activities. Depending on your access profile for ADP Vantage HCM Time options, you may see primary and secondary widgets through which you view and access time data. The widgets that appear depend on your system configuration. See the ADP Vantage HCM Time Navigation section for full details. My Team Menu ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers Use the My Team > Time & Attendance menu to perform daily tasks for your team. The following image shows the Time & Attendance options. Use the My Team > Employment > Time Information option to maintain time information for employees, such as defining which time-entry methods, access profiles, absence management profiles, and employee scheduler profiles. ADP Vantage HCM Time: Navigation ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers This is a high-level look at the navigation features and functions of ADP Vantage HCM Time. Depending upon your access profile for ADP Vantage HCM Time options, when you login you may see primary and secondary widgets, and a Related Items pane through which you view and access time data. Also, as you do your work, these three elements may not be visible at the same time. There are several navigational elements within ADP Vantage HCM Time: Wizards A wizard is comprised of steps for which you complete related tasks. For example, the Daily Tasks wizard has steps that enable you to view punch issues and access employees timecards. The Timecard Approval wizard has steps that enable you to resolve punch issues and approve employees timecards. Workspaces A workspace is comprised of one or more widgets. If there are multiple widgets, the workspace opens a widget in the primary position. You can drag the secondary widgets to the primary position. Widgets A widget is a component that enables you to perform a task. Related Items Pane The Related Items Pane contains widgets or wizards that you can either drag and drop to the primary position or click to open on a new tab. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 21 of 33

Overview of Navigational Elements The following images represent three typical ADP Vantage HCM Time workspaces. Your configuration may look different, but the functions are the same. Below the images are descriptions of the menus, icons, and other elements in these workspaces. Starting Point: My Team > Time & Attendance > Time Workspace In the image above: There is one primary widget that is displayed as a workspace tab (My Timecard). Unused widgets are stored either in the Related Items pane or as a secondary widget. There are two secondary widgets displayed (My Calendar and My Accruals). The Related Items pane is closed. It has seven widget icons displayed. Three are disabled (greyed) because those widgets are in use. Four are enabled (darkened) and stored for future use. If you hover over the widget icon, the widget name is displayed. The icon-based menu that is appropriate for that workspace is displayed above the workspace. Move secondary widgets to the primary position either by dragging or using the options icon (described below). Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 22 of 33

Starting Point: My Team > Time & Attendance > Daily Tasks ADP Vantage HCM: Navigation for Time Managers In the image above: There is one primary widget that is displayed as workspace tab. There are no secondary widgets displayed. The Daily Tasks wizard is displayed. The Related Items pane is expanded to reveal the widget icons with their names. If you click one of the widget icons in the Related Items pane that widget is displayed on a new tab. If you drag one of the widget icons from the Related Items pane to the primary workspace, that widget replaces the previous primary workspace. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 23 of 33

Workspaces Workspaces are collections of one or more widgets that are bound together for completing a task or solving a specific business problem. When ADP Vantage HCM Time includes multiple workspaces, each workspace is accessible from tabs in the action bar at the top of the navigator. The home workspace is indicated by the home icon. Widgets Widgets are the tools that help you to do your job. Depending upon your access rights, there will be at least one primary (active) widget in the center of your workspace where you do your work. There may be secondary widgets, additional workspaces, and related items, which are available when you need them. When you close a secondary widget, it will be stored in the Related Items pane. Use the maximize/restore down icon to make your primary widget larger or smaller. To make a secondary widget the primary (active) widget, drag the secondary widget to the primary location. Or, on the secondary widget, click the options icon to open the options menu, then select Pop-out. If you get a message that there are too many widgets open, click the options icon and select Close. Related Items Pane The Related Items pane holds widgets that you are not currently using. You can open a widget from the Related Items pane, whether it is closed or open. You can either click the widget icon to open the widget on a new tab or drag the widget icon to the primary position. To work with widgets in the Related Items pane, do the following. Step Action 1 Expand the Related Items pane to view the available widget icons and their names. 2 Collapse the Related Items pane to return it to its compact size and increase the size of your workspace. When the Related Items pane is closed, hover over the widget icon to reveal the widget name. 3 Click the desired widget icon in the Related Items pane. That widget is displayed in a new (additional) tab on the primary workspace. The secondary widgets and Related Items pane are hidden. 4 Drag the desired widget icon from the Related Items pane to the primary workspace. That widget replaces the existing primary widget in the workspace, returning it to a secondary widget position. If there is no more room in the layout for another secondary widget, the newly dragged widget exchanges places with one of the previous secondary widgets, which is then stored in the Related Items pane. Common Fields, Buttons, and Icons The following table summarizes common fields, buttons, and icons used in ADP Vantage HCM Time. Component Time Period/HyperFind Query field Calendar icon Home icon Refresh or synchronize data Refresh icon Description Time Period: Click to define the span of time for data or tasks. Click the blue text to select pre-defined periods or to enter custom dates. HyperFind Query: Click to select predetermined groups that filter the selection. It returns only the information that you want and only the information you have access to view. Click the Calendar icon to enter a range of dates. This identifies the user s home workspace, for example, the workspace that is first displayed when the user opens ADP Vantage HCM Time. Use the synchronize icon to refresh Time Period and Show fields on all windows for a tab that has multiple windows Click to refresh your data after making changes. Save icon Click to save changes. Return to previous workspace Share Details Expand and collapse windows Use to return to the previous workspace. This icon is available on many ADP Vantage HCM Time workspaces. This icon enables you to print the timecard or send the data to Excel. Use this icon to drill down within a selection of records to see greater details about a specific aspect of the records. This icon toggles between maximize and restore down. Use the resize icon to expand and collapse the primary workspace. The system will use more or less room on the tab to display the workspace. Use the expand icon or collapse icon to expand and collapse the Related Items pane. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 25 of 33

Component Options (gear) icon Description Use to move a secondary widget to the primary position, replacing the existing workspace tab. Click the options icon and then select Pop-Out. Alternatively, you can drag a secondary widget (using its title bar) to the primary position. In both situations, the secondary widget replaces the primary widget, which then becomes a secondary widget. Click Next to move through the steps in a wizard. Copyright 2015 ADP, LLC. Page 26 of 33

ADP Vantage HCM Time: QuickNavs Widget The QuickNavs enable you to view employee data and group employees for actions, such as timecard edits, accruals, schedules, and timecard approvals. Starting Point: My Team > Time & Attendance > Quick Links The following table summarizes the menus, fields, and buttons in the QuickNavs workspace. Callout Item Description 1 QuickNavs field This field displays the name of the QuickNav that appears in the workspace. Click the field to display a list of QuickNavs that may include QuickFind. 2 Select All Rows icon This icon enables you to select all the rows that are displayed. 3 Column Selection menu This menu enables you to hide and show columns. Callout Item Description 4 Filter icon This icon enables you to display a search field at the top of one or more of the columns. 5 Timekeeping menu This menu includes options such as add punch, delete punch, add pay code, and delete pay code. Select one or more employees, and then select an option. 6 Approval menu This menu includes options such as Approve Timecard, Remove Timecard Approval, and Enable Edits in signed-off timecards. Callout Item Description 7 Schedule menu This menu includes options for managing schedules. The options include Add Shift, Replace Shift, Insert Transfer, Add Pay Code, Add to Group, and Add Pattern. Select one or more employees, and then select an option. 8 Time Period & HyperFind Query link This field includes the Time Period and HyperFind Query for the group of employees. 9 Refresh icon This icon enables you to refresh the data on the screen to display changes. 10 Share icon This icon enables you to print the timecard or send the data to Excel. Starting Point: My Team > Time & Attendance > QuickFind 1 2 3 The following table summarizes the menus, fields, and buttons in the QuickFind workspace. With the exception of a few items, the menus and buttons are similar to those found in other QuickNav workspaces. Callout Item Description 1 QuickNavs field This field displays the name of the QuickNav that appears in the workspace. Click the field to display a list of QuickNavs that may include QuickFind. 2 Search field and (magnifying glass) Use this field to enter the name of the employee.
