1 Office 365 Ordering Overview The partner is required to complete the following Microsoft pre-requisites prior to placing their first Office 365 (O365) order. Once they complete their Microsoft requirements, they obtain the MPN ID which is required to submit a Pax8 order for their Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider line item. Once submitted and Pax8 Confirms the MPN ID and creates the Partner account, the Office 365 line items are available for ordering in the Pax8 Command Console. The Microsoft Account, MPN ID and MOSPA requirements are not specific to Pax8; if you have previously obtained and completed these steps within Microsoft, proceed to Step 5 and provide Pax8 your MPN ID. 2 Create Microsoft Account (Step 1) The first Microsoft pre-requisite is signing up for a Microsoft Account. Navigate to the following URL to view these pre-requisites in video format: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aokgpbdkx-s 1. Navigate to https://login.live.com/ 2. Click Create One 3. Input account information, acknowledge Terms and Agreements & save 4. Navigate to your email client 5. Locate the email from Microsoft 6. Click the Verify box to verify your identity 2-1 P a g e

3 Join Microsoft Partner Network (Step 2) Pax8 Training 1. Navigate to http://partner.microsoft.com 2. Sign in with the credentials of the Microsoft Account created in Step 1 3. Choose the Membership drop list 4. Select Enroll 5. Enroll and organization or Join an existing organization 6. Complete your Contact and Organization Information 7. Agree to the Microsoft Terms 8. Click Submit 3-1 P a g e

4 Obtain MPN ID (Step 3) Once you enroll and are confirmed in the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN), you will receive your Microsoft Partner Network ID (MPN ID). This is the ID you will input in the Pax8 Command Console in Step 5. The Microsoft Partner confirmation can take Microsoft up to 3 days to complete, however, often the MPN ID displays immediately upon enrollment in the Microsoft Partner Network. If the MPN ID did not immediately display upon enrollment, follow these steps to obtain the ID. 1. Navigate to http://partner.microsoft.com 2. Sign in with the credentials of the Microsoft Account created in Step 1 3. View the MPN ID in the upper right corner next to your name 4-1 P a g e

5 Complete MOSPA (step 4) The Microsoft Online Services Partner Agreement (MOSPA) is a set of forms required by Microsoft in order to sell Microsoft products. If you have previously completed these steps and your MOSPA status is complete, proceed to Step 5. 1. Navigate and log into https://partner.microsoft.com 2. Click the icon next to your name & MPN ID in the upper right corner 3. Scroll down and click Partner Membership Center 4. Scroll down to the Additional Programs section 5. Click the Status link next to Microsoft Online Services Partner Agreement 6. Click Create/Update tax and banking profile link 7. Click the Assign profile or create new down arrow 5-1 P a g e

8. Click Create a new banking profile 9. Complete the required fields and save 5-2 P a g e

6 Order Microsoft Partner Certification (Step 5) Once you have completed the Microsoft requirements, you ll order one item in the Pax8 Command Console notifying Pax8 that you are certified by Microsoft to sell Microsoft Products. Once we confirm your certification, we ll display the O365 line items in the Pax8 Command Console and communicate your ability to order O365 line items. 1. Navigate and sign into https://mycommandconsole.com 2. Click Catalog 3. Locate and select the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program 4. Add the item to your cart 5. Select your own Partner shadow account as the Customer Selection 6. Qty = 1 7. Add to your cart & checkout 8. Click Step 2: Provisioning 9. Confirm that you have completed all Microsoft requirements 10. Input your MPN ID 6-1 P a g e

Add a minimum of one contact to be authorized for complimentary Arrow Support* *Refer to the Support section of this document to understand what is included in the partner complimentary support and the additional pay-for support options 12. Continue 13. Click Service Terms and Conditions link to view the Microsoft Arrow Agreement Pax8 is partnering with Arrow, a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider partner, to process your Office 365 products. Pax8 partners or their customers will need to authorize Arrow as a delegated administrator in order to process orders on your behalf and take advantage of the automated integration between Arrow and Microsoft. 6-2 P a g e

You will be required to sign the Arrow Microsoft agreement in order to take advantage of this partnership between Pax8 and Arrow. 14. You agree to the Microsoft Arrow agreement by clicking the acknowledge checkbox 15. 8 Designate Arrow as a Delegated Admin Pax8 partners or their customers will need to authorize Arrow as a delegated administrator to process orders on your behalf and take advantage of the automated integration between Arrow and Microsoft. As a reminder, as a partner you have already signed the Arrow Microsoft agreement to take advantage of this partnership between Pax8 and Arrow. 8.1 Who needs to assign Arrow as a Delegated Admin? Every Customer account ordering O365 via Pax8 must have Arrow assigned as a Delegated Admin on the customer account for the order to provision. This is a onetime assignment per customer O365 account. New O365 customers Customers placing their initial O365 order via Pax8 that have never had an O365 account previously will have Arrow Delegated Admin assignment happen automatically when Arrow creates the customer account (Tenant) in Microsoft. No Delegated admin assignment needs to happen by the partner or customer Existing O365 Customers If the Customer previously ordered Office 365, they have an O365 account and need to add Arrow as a Delegated Admin on their account. Whomever has access to sign into the customers O365 portal can perform the Delegated Admin assignment If the partner is listed as a delegated admin on the customer account, the partner has access to log into the Customer account and can identify Arrow as an additional delegated admin. If the partner is not listed as a delegated admin on the customer account, the customer can perform the following steps. Note: The Arrow delegated admin assignment is for is for ordering purposes only; this in no way replaces anyone as the delegated admin with configuration responsibilities. 8-1 P a g e

8.2 When to assign Arrow as the Delegated Admin If possible, assign Arrow to the existing Microsoft Customer Account prior to placing the O365 order via pax8. This allows the order to automatically provision within moments of order submittal. 8.3 Accessing the Arrow Delegated Admin The following email is sent when the partner signs up for the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program which contains a link to assign Arrow as the Delegated Admin. Similarly, when an O365 order is placed and if Arrow has not yet been assigned as the Delegated Admin, and email is sent to the technical contact on the account with the link to perform these steps. 1. Click the link in the email received by Provisioning@pax8.com 2. Or utilize this link: https://portal.office.com/partner/partnersignup.aspx?type=resellerrelationship&i d=86200b63-31e6-4755-ad44-c1875b8de9a8&csp=1&msppid=0 3. 9 Order O365 1. Navigate and sign into https://mycommandconsole.com 2. Click Catalog 3. Locate and select the appropriate O365 line item(s) 4. Add the item to your cart 5. Select the O365 Customer Select or create the downstream customer ordering O365 If the O365 licenses are for your own organization, select your own Partner shadow account as the customer selection 6. Qty = the number of end-user licenses desired 7. Add to your cart & checkout 8. Click Step 2: Provisioning The provisioning details are required to complete the order. Designate the following: 9. If the customer is an existing Microsoft Customer 10. Customer Microsoft Domain If the customer is an existing Microsoft Customer, input the customers existing Microsoft customer domain. If the customer is not an existing Microsoft Customer, we ll create the customer account. Input the customers Desired Microsoft Customer domain 9-1 P a g e

10 Manage O365 Account 10.1 Verify O365 product & quantity 1. Sign into the customer O365 portal - https://portal.office.com 2. Verify the ordered product by navigating to Billing Licenses This page identifies the ordered product, the quantity ordered as well as how many of the licenses are assigned to end-users 10-1 P a g e

10.2 Identify assigned domain When your office 35 account is created, Microsoft provides a domain for the organization that ends with.onmicrosoft.com. If this is the domain desired for email delivery, move forward to the Assign user license step. You can use this domain or associate the organizations O365 mail with a different domain. 10.2.1 View Microsoft assign domain 1. From the O365 home page, click Domains 2. View the Microsoft provided Domain Name 10-2 P a g e

10.2.3 Associate Customized Domain 1. If your organization has a different domain for mail delivery, navigate to the O365 Home Page 2. Click Go to Setup 3. Follow the video through the steps to link your O365 account to your domain and create your users within your domain provider account (e.g. GoDaddy) 10.3 Assign O365 end-user Licenses 10.3.1 View existing users 1. Navigate to Users Active Users 10-3 P a g e

2. View existing users and license status 10.3.2 Assign license to existing unlicensed user 1. Single click a user name 2. Click Edit on the Product Licenses line item 3. View the product license is off and the remaining license quantity 4. Single click in the Off box to assign license 10-4 P a g e

5. Note the status changes to On 6. And the remaining license quantity updates 7. Close the user account by clicking the x in the upper right corner 10.3.3 Provide end-user Access 1. View each end-users account and note their email address. 2. Identify whether you prefer the user to change their password at first sign-in, or if you prefer to assign the user password 10-5 P a g e

Send the end-user the following: URL: https://portal.office.com Login id: (users email address) Password: 10.3.4 End-user access Once the end-user receives their login credentials from their administrator, direct them to sign into O365 1. Click Install Office 2016 2. Direct the user to Save the file 3. Continue the installation wizard 4. Click the desired app icon to utilize it 10-6 P a g e

11 O365 Support O365 support ordered through Pax8 is performed by Arrow. There is complimentary support automatically available to every Pax8 Partner who signs up for the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program as well as 2 pay-for support items if additional support is needed. For all support options, Pax8 will submit the contact details for each person registering for support and email each person once their Arrow Support-now account is active. 11.1 Complimentary Support Every partner order receives Complimentary support from Arrow for troubleshooting O365. If support above and beyond the Complimentary support is needed, locate and select the pay-for support line item. Pax8 will submit the technical contact(s) included in the Provisioning Details on the Partner Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program order. Complimentary support includes 3 Arrow Support tickets per Partner organization, each month. Microsoft Office 365 complimentary Partner Supported includes: End Customer Users Self-Help Portal and Knowledge Base Technical Support for End Customer Administrators up to 3 tickets per month 3 tickets per month per 11-1 P a g e

11.2 Microsoft Office 365 Technical Support for Admin - 3 hrs. per Month This monthly subscription provides 3 hours of support to the contacts identified in the provisioning details on the Customer order. This Arrow-provided support supplies: Access to the Arrow ServiceNow portal knowledge base to perform self-help Access to log tickets on the Arrow ServiceNow portal Phone numbers to contact Arrow Support directly 11.3 Microsoft Office 365 End User Technical Support - per User Microsoft Office 365 End User Technical Support enables your licensed users to contact Arrow support directly for 3 hours of support related to the use of Microsoft Office 365. The quantity of end-user support ordered must match the number of O365 licenses ordered via Pax8. This Arrow-provided support supplies: Access to the Arrow ServiceNow portal knowledge base to perform self-help Access to log tickets on the Arrow ServiceNow portal Phone numbers to contact Arrow Support directly 11.4 Contact Arrow Support The following support are the contact details for registered support contacts https://arrow.service-now.com/mscsp/ 844-861-7523 Support.xsp-US@arrow.com 11-2 P a g e

12 Correct an O365 Order If there are any setbacks in processing the O365 order, Pax8 provisioning will be in touch. The two most common reasons for an order delay: Confirm if your customer is an existing Microsoft Customer. If you selected No for the Is the customer an existing Microsoft Customer option, when the order is processed, we attempt to create a new Customer Tenant (account) in Microsoft with the input desired domain. If the domain exists in Microsoft, the order cannot be processed. Communicate with your customer to identify if they are indeed an existing Microsoft customer. If so, let Pax8 Provisioning know to change the Is the customer an existing Microsoft Customer option to Yes. The customer order is resubmitted Customer Domain Exists If the customer was not an existing Microsoft Customer, you input the desired customer Microsoft domain in the order Provisioning Details. When the order is submitted, the domain is checked to ensure it isn t associated to an existing Microsoft Customer tenant. If so, the order cannot be processed. Communicate with your customer and have them identify an alternate Microsoft Customer Domain. Let Pax8 Provisioning know the new desired domain. The customer order is resubmitted 12-1 P a g e

13 NFR & Trials There are no NFR or Trials available for O365 orders. However, based on when an order is placed, it is possible for customers to get up to 30 days of O365 free. 13.1 O365 Billing Cycle The billing cycle for O365 is from the 28 th of the month through the 27 th of the next month. When an order is placed in a given month, charges do not start accruing until the Billing Cycle start of the 28 th. To obtain the most amount of no charge O365 usage, place the O365 order on the 29 th of the month. All usage from the 29 th to the 27 th of the order month is not billed. If order is cancelled before the 27 th of a month, in the same month it was ordered, there is no charge 13-1 P a g e
