Check the ones you want
Get the installer An installer program downloads This is NOT the actual programs you checked on the screen It saves in your download folder
Run it When the download finishes, run it to install the programs you checked If the program is not on your PC it will be installed If the program is on your PC a new version, if available, will install If you have the current program, it will be skipped
Run the Installer The installer icon looks like this: Click Details to watch what is happening
Watch it work When finished, click close
Finding CCleaner Not part of the Ninite program list Must get directly from Piriform We have a link to the download page for the free version on the club site http://cccgc.info
CCleaner Installation Click the Free CCleaner link Scroll down the page that opens and click Open the file and Click Install
Run the Maintenance Programs I shutdown each night using Glary It cleans up and by checking the shutdown box it logs me off and powers down when finished. I run the others about once a week CCleaner SUPERantispyware Malwarebytes
Glary Utilities First time setup On the Overview page, uncheck the Check for software box You do not have to do this again; it will stay unchecked
Glary Utilities On the One Click Maintenance page, click Scan for Issues Check Automatic Repair and Shut down PC (of end of night)
SUPERAntispyware First time setup When asked to start the trial, DECLINE Go to system tools > preference Uncheck Run in the back Click Do not scan at
SUPERAntispyware Always check for updates to the database Click OK when it finishes Click Scan This Computer Leave checkmarks as they are Click Quick Scan Let it close your browsers
SUPERAntispyware It will locate spyware and flag them
SUPERAntispyware Click Continue to remove the issues
SUPERAntispyware Make sure the objects found have a big X in the box, then click Continue to remove them.
SUPERAntispyware Click Continue to finish Close out of SUPERAntispyware
Malwarebytes First time setup Under settings, turn off the following
Malwarebytes Under My Account Deactivate Premium Trial
Malwarebytes Under Dashboard, click Scan Now This one takes a while to finish
Malwarebytes If issues found, remove them
CCleaner There are two different actions to do using this tool Cleaner Registry Leave the checked boxes as is
CCleaner Run Cleaner first to remove unnecessary temporary files I do not Analyze first
CCleaner Then Scan for Registry issues and when found Fix Selected Items. I do not backup the registry I fix all the selected items Then run the Scan again and again until all issues are taken care of
Updating the Programs Before running the weekly programs run the Ninite installer This will update all the programs before running them except CCleaner
Updating the Programs When you run CCleaner notice the Check for updates button in the lower right corner. Click it before running the Cleaner If you do not, click the link on CCCGC.INFO to get the latest
What about updates? The data base files need to be updated within each program after upgrading them Use Ninite to upgrade programs and ignore any nag screens to do the upgrades on your own Use CCCGC link to upgrade CCleaner when necessary
