Rain Bird Knowledge Center Troubleshooting Guide Situation I registered to use the Knowledge Center, but have not received my access confirmation email. Recommendation Please allow up to 1 business day for the system to approve your access. If it has been longer than 2 business days and you have not received your confirmation email, contact: Knowledgecenter@rainbird.com for assistance. I registered and received access to the Knowledge Center, but I can t remember my password. Go to: http://knowledgecenter.rainbird.com and click on Forgot Password. Enter your email address in the box provided and click Retrieve. A new password will be sent automatically to the email address you used to register for the Knowledge Center. 1
I m already a Rain Bird Rewards member, do I have to set-up a new user name and password for the knowledge center? I completed my product education modules, but my scores are not showing-up. I completed my product education modules, but the system says that the criteria have not been met. If you already have a user name and password for Rewards you do NOT need to register and set-up a new account for the Rain Bird Knowledge center. Click directly on the Please Log in button and enter your existing user name and password to start your training. Please allow 1 business day for your scores to update. If you just took the training, check the next business day to make sure that your progress is updated. If you have already waited more than 2 business days and your scores are still not showing up, please notify: Knowledgecenter@rainbird.com. To meet the required criteria, you must view each slide of the presentation. The system will not show complete if slides were skipped or videos were closed before finishing. To successfully complete each training module, you need an 80% on your quiz score (8 out of 10 correct answers). You can take the training as many times as you need to achieve an 80% score. Please remember, however, that you must still view 100% of the slides before retaking the quiz. I already completed all my courses, but the system says that a product category is still in progress. If a new product module is added to a product category after you complete all the existing modules, the system will show In Process. After you complete the new product education module, the system will show the category as Complete again. <Continued on next page> 2
TIP: Check periodically for new courses added and keep your training updated. Rain Bird will continue to add content to the Knowledge Center so you have the latest education modules for our products. When a module is added, the product category will have a button that shows Newly Updated. This alerts you that there are new product education modules available in that product category. 3
Where can I find my training certificates? Click on the My Profile button to view and print your completion certificates. Certificates While viewing an education module, the screen presentation stops and freezes. Check your internet connection. If the signal is not stable, the Knowledge Center will not function properly. Close the program and try to log-in when your internet has stabilized. 4
Can multiple users log into the Knowledge Center from the same computer? If multiple users are logging into the Knowledge center from the same computer, complete these steps when you log out. Log out Close the login screen Clear your browsing history and cookies It is important to complete these steps before the next user types in their log-in credentials. When I try to log in, it says Access Denied. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue. 1. Do not allow your Internet Browser to save your password, since this may cause this type of login error.
