GeoVision Digital Video Recorder Professional CCTV System System Overview: This advanced very high recording resolution PC-based Digital CCTV surveillance system allows you to connect cameras and display, record, review and have remote access simultaneously. This system uses motion detection technology (without the need for separate sensor's) and may be configured to record only when image changes are detected, saving time and cost of continuous recording as in traditional CCTV Systems. This system has more features than any other CCTV digital recorder system on the market today and free software updates are available for future added functionality. The Digital CCTV system with built-in motion detection technology, records only moving objects in the view port area. This video data is digitised, captured with date and time, (using a digital watermark for video evidence purposes), compressed and kept on hard disk as a file for later tracking. No more round the clock recording on videotape like conventional surveillance systems. No more changing tapes every day. Video clips can be exported to AVI files that any computer can read, no specialised video conversion software needed. Single photos can be saved as either.bmp or Jpegs and sent by email or printed directly from the DVR The DVR also allows remote viewing and playback by external modem, TCP/IP, IP Multicast and Broadband with the remote view application or
through the web browser, acting just like a Web Cam. This means that you can login from anywhere in the world and see what s happening on any or all cameras and you can also playback previously recorded material. This system requires broadband for higher quality remote access. Access is via PC, laptop, java enabled PDA or mobile phone. The system will work with any existing CCTV Camera. The Input connections from the camera are standard BNC connectors. The system comes complete with all the necessary software for recording and remote viewing and playback. The DVR records at least six weeks high quality footage, (720X576), and then deletes the first day recorded, using the first in first out principle. Recording time can be dramatically increased by adding extra hard-drives. A DVD burner CD/RW is included in the package. Footage can be burned to CD or DVD for viewing on any Computer. The seven cameras attached to, or in the building will have battery backup protection. A main battery backup for the DVR is included. The unit will continue to record for at least an hour when mains power fails. Note that the three fixed cameras on the signs will not have this facility. The DVR supplied comes with sixteen camera recording capability. Several cameras from a remote site can also be recorded at an additional installation charge. POS data from a till can be overlaid on the camera footage. The POS capture box is included. Compatible with all tills with a serial output.
