OTI series of OEM thermal imaging cores OEM integration Featuring a compact enclosure and range of interfaces including standard composite video, the Overview OTI series provides the OEM with an easy-to-integrate thermal core. Usable either in default mode or with external control, the unit affords the OEM flexibility in control of the camera features. The units support the Pelco D protocol enabling easier integration for the OEM and improved usability for the end user. Description of the OTI series Featuring an uncooled high resolution sensor, the cameras combine features of performance, flexibility and minimal cost of ownership. With the option of compact enclosure and screw fit lenses, the module is designed to appeal to OEMs and systems integrators alike. Irisys series of OEM thermal imaging cores Edge enhancement: Our digital edge enhancement feature provides a sharper outline to objects. The level can be adjusted to suit individual requirements. Contrast enhancement: The contrast enhancement feature improves the image in low contrast scenes. This gives the user a better picture, therefore enabling more details to be seen. Continuous digital zoom: Continuous digital zoom allows the user to zoom into the image and pan and tilt within the scene in real time. Standard composite output: To enable easy integration by OEM customers, our camera cores provide a standard composite video output. This can easily be connected to an IP encoder (not supplied) if a network compatible product is required. Key features On screen menu: Our on screen menu system enables simple and easy adjustment of all operator and OEM functions. A featureless background - increased features leads to increased clutter. 2. Adequate contrast - object to be at least 2 C warmer than the background. 3. Atmospheric conditions may reduce distance achieved. 4. Reflectivity, focal length and other lens parameters. DRI distances use the Johnson Criteria as quoted by the thermal imaging industry. They originate from the performance achieved when viewing through an eyepiece. Although the thermal camera should achieve these ranges, the D distance equates to 0.6-1% of screen height. For practical purposes, in a normal busy CCTV control room a reduction of c.50% of the distances quoted should be considered as a guideline.
