Temperature Sensors Optional Zone Temperature Monitoring When an Airtopia Temperature Sensor 5100DTS-SM is connected to input terminals 1&2, a feedback of the Zone (room) temperature is now available for monitoring. Temperature sensor can be located anywhere in the zone with consideration of the following, ceiling height, radiant heat from windows and air flow around the sensor. Commonly installed half way up the wall near the air conditioner. NOTE: due to environment variables such as air flow and location of the sensors the monitored temperature may vary from the temperature sensor of the air conditioner. The temperature can be monitored on your automation system or directly through the Airtopia home screen. Installing the Airtopia Plaster Wall Plug 5100DTS-SM The 5100DTS-SM has a similar design to a softawall plaster plug but without the piecing blade on one end. The nylon cap houses the Temperature sensor and 150mm 2 core cable. From the controller we recommend extending. Create a 5 to 10mm hole in the plaster so that the extended wiring will specifically designed and manufactured by Airtopia for Soft-wall plaster installation. The mounting of the plug is sim. The nylon cap housing the sensor can be gyprock and painted to blend with installed environment. Wire can be extended to 300m using a CAT5 pair. The 5100DTS-SM is supplied with 150mm of insulated 2 pair for easy termination at the source. Installation is as simple as installing a wall mate and terminating 2 wires. Current Transformer Optional Power Usage & Status Monitor The Airtopia Current Transformer (CT) 5100CT80 must be installed by a licensed electrician. Installation must meet the requirements of the local Electrical Standards. When the CT is installed on the active power of the indoor unit it will provide feedback of the appliances ON or OFF status. When the CT is installed on the active power of the outdoor unit it can provide the approximate energy usage of the appliance. In the Current Transformer screen adjust the available parameters for your local area. Programmable Logic Coming soon A dry contact (closed circuit) can be programmed to execute a programmable event or schedule. A typical example is to send an OFF command to the appliance if the home alarm is set to armed, or if the room is unoccupied for 15 minutes set the temperature 2 degrees (setback) lower or high from the target temperature, until the room is occupied again. It can even be used to trigger a Demand Response from a smart meter. Account Edit and change account details, including password and user name. After you save these settings you will be required to enter them when you next login. Airtopia Software Installation Guide V1.1 7

Zones If you have more than 1 Airtopia device associated with your account an alphabetical list of Zones is shown. Units not connected to the Airtopia WEB services will show as offline. Select the online air system you wish to control and the available attributes will load to the screen. IR Transmitter With the IR transmitter connected and positioned towards the Indoor Unit s IR window, the air system can be controlled from your device. The Indoor unit will normally beep to indicate it has received a command from the Airtopia controller. Sensors Optional If sensors are connected and enabled in the device parameters, you can view real-time temperatures, power usage and the status of the air system.
