It operates in the built and construction environment. Khweza Imikhono provides a foundation for a high-performance culture which is inculcated through an integrated operating system that encompasses the company s core values, policies and processes used to conduct business. To ensure that the work is carried out according to sound industry standards, the company has developed a management system that is based on ISO 9001, with the goal of achieving ISO 9001 accreditation in the near future. To this end, the company continually measures, assesses these systems in order to improve performance.

Ownership And Mangement As the Chief Executive Officer of Khweza Construction, she is responsible for sourcing new business; company strategy and expansion of services. Ms Nomvula Kungwane Chief Executive Officer NOMVULA KUNGWANE S PROFILE Nomvula holds a B-Tech Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Johannesburg, a Master Economy degree, with majors in Strategy and Project Leadership from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France and a 1-year Project Management certificate course from the University of Pretoria. Nomvula has 17 years experience in the energy industry, having worked for Eskom s Distribution and Transmission projects departments. She started as a Project Engineer, planning & designing project solutions, then went on to become a Project Manager implementing various projects. In 2005, she was promoted to Programme Manager where she was responsible for Eskom s North-Western Region s Capital Programme implementation, which amounted to R700 million per annum. In 2009, Nomvula was appointed Executive Manager Electrification, where she was responsible for the planning and implementation of Eskom s national Electrification programme in partnership with the government s Department of Energy. Her last position in Eskom was General Manager Mpumalanga Operating Unit in 2012 where she was responsible for Eskom s operations and stakeholder management in the province. She joined Suzlon Wind Energy South Africa in the same year as Vice President Projects, responsible for the implementation of the biggest wind farm in Sub- Saharan Africa. She was responsible for contracts negotiations & appointment of subcontractors; stakeholder management; facility compliance. She gained experience in logistics; cranes and installation; civil and electrical balance of plant. works, for renewable energy projects.
