PLACING A CALL Using the Handset: Pick up the handset. Enter the phone number, wait a few seconds and the call will process. Or enter the phone number first, then pick up the handset. Using the hands-free Speakerphone: With the handset on-hook, press the speaker key, or any assigned line key. Then, enter the number. Dial the number, and then press or Dial key. ANSWERING A CALL Using the Handset: Pick up the handset. Using the hands-free Speakerphone: Press, the line key or the Answer soft key. **Incoming calls may be denied by pressing the Reject soft key during ringing.** - calls go to voicemail ENDING A CALL Press the EndCall soft key. Or depending on the call mode, press the speaker button or hang up the handset. REDIAL Using the Direction Pad, press the right arrow (Placed Calls). Navigate to the desired number, and press the Dial sofkey. CALL HOLD AND RESUME During a call press the Hold key. Press Hold again or the Resume soft key or the line key to resume the call CALL TRANSFER 1. During a call, press the Transfer button or soft key (the active call is placed on hold). 2. Place a call to the party to which you want to transfer the call. 3. After speaking with the second party press the Transfer soft key to complete the transfer. **OR, press the Blind soft key to transfer the call without speaking to the second party.** **Transfer can be cancelled during establishment by pressing the Cancel soft key. The original call is resumed** CALL TRANSFER to VOICE MAIL 1. During a call press the Transfer soft key (the active call is placed on hold). 2. Dial *55 3. An automated voice will prompt you to enter the extension of the person s Voice Mail you wish to transfer to. 4. Enter the desired extension and press #. Hang up. Page 1

LOCAL CONFERENCE CALLS To create a three way local conference call: 1. Connect to the first party. 2. Press the More soft key, then the Confrnc soft key to create a new call (the active call is placed on hold). 3. Place a call to the second party. 4. When the second party answers press the Confrnc soft key again to join all parties in the conference. Conference Behavior: Placing the conference call on hold will place the other conference parties on hold. 5. Press the End Call soft key to end the call. CALL FORWARD To enable call forwarding: 1. Press the Forward softkey 2. Select a Forwarding Type. Always on No Answer or Busy. 3. For all types: press Select softkey, enter a number to forward all future calls to. For No Answer, also enter the number of rings before forwarding. ** if you are forwarding to an outside line, add the correct digit to the number (8 or 9) ** 4. Press the Enable soft key to confirm Call Forwarding. On the Lines view, a moving arrow icon appears for that line. To disable call forwarding: Perform steps 1 and 2, but select the Disable softkey. VOICE MAIL A red MWI (Message Waiting indicator) light, voice mail icon next to your line on the screen and a stutter dial tone indicate one or more new voice mail messages. To listen to voice messages: 1. Press the Vmail soft key. 2. Enter your voicemail password and then follow voice prompts. Page 2

Press the Home button, and navigate to Settings using the right arrow. 2. press (1) Basic > (5) Ring Type 3. You are now at the Line Select menu. Press (1) Default. 4. Scroll thru the ringtones. Press Play to listen to the ringtone, press Select to enable the tone you prefer to use. Page 3
