ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM Ultimate access control solutions for your security needs...
Ultimate access control solutions. What do you want from your access control system? Is it reliability? Advanced functionality? Flexibility? Or is it the peace of mind of knowing that, whatever security needs may arise in the future, it can be effortlessly catered for? Saflec Systems range of access control solutions allows you to design your own security infrastructure and scale it according to your unique requirements. In addition, the system s controllerbased logic means that if your IT infrastructure fails, it will still be able to make intelligent access controlbased decisions.
Proximity Readers Two proximity readers are available to cater for a wide variety of installation requirements. Both readers feature a sleek design and can read various transponder cards at the industry standard frequency of 5kHz, including Hitag, Hitag and EM0. It includes a tricolour LED for indication of the scanner status, and an Audio buzzer to indicate a successful card read. The reader is housed in a robust ABS plastic enclosure, incorporating a clipandscrew closing mechanism for a wholly unobtrusive installation. Highbright, tricolour LED Audible buzzer with different sounds for allowing and denying access Industry standard 5kHz operational frequency Reads Hitag, Hitag, EM0 card technologies Rotary coded address switch for easy addressing Configurable bitmasking for limiting card number length from 6 to 0 bits Wiegand standard connection Wiegand Reader SSR0 Proximity Reader SSR0
Multiple Door Controllers Multiple Door Controllers are the brains of the access control system with one controller being able to control multiple doors. A total of 6 controllers can be networked together to handle up to 56 readers or 8 doors. However, multiple 6controller networks can be linked together via a PC to create an everexpanding access control meganetwork. Maximum door capacity Tag holder capacity Robust isolated RS85 reader connection Relay outputs can be potentialfree or powered 3 Digital inputs Wiegand interface connections Offline operation; full intelligence at each controller Controller offline transaction buffer capacity Robust isolated RS85 bus between controllers with high stability and surge protection Onboard communication port Weatherproof enclosure with lockable hinged access door Integrated power supply 5 Battery backup Mains monitoring with a battery charging circuit and a lowvoltage cut off Rotarycoded address switch for easy addressing Diagnostic LEDs for easy testing Twodoor Controller SDC0' 000 00 000 No TCP/IP 5A 7Ah No Multiple door controller SDC550 8 3 00 6 5 8 6 000 Optional TCP/IP 5A 7Ah Multiple door controller SDC50 8 30 000 6 0 000 TCP/IP 5A 7Ah. Additional expansion modules required. Expandable to 30 000 via SEB700 TCP/IP module 3. Two inputs may be configured to Automatic Fire and Tamper Control. Maximum 6 controllers per device network (unlimited device networks) 5. Maximum controller output 3A
TCP/IP Expansion s Expansion boards offer a seemingly neverending list of additional functionality to the system. From adding additional inputs and outputs and increasing memory to converting the interface protocol, virtually all potential user requirements are catered for. Two relay outputs (either powered or potentialfree contacts) Wiegand reader input RS85 connection for Proximity Readers Extends the I/O capabilities of the Multiple Door Controller Outputs (maximum) Programmable digital inputs Transmitter can be uniquely linked to an individual user Number of units connected per door controller Communication with controller Provides native TCP/IP connectivity to SDC550 Multiple Door Controllers Increases controller memory to allow 30 000 tag holders Can be set up to use DHCP Can be automatically detected on a network that does not block broadcast messages Firmware can be transferred using FTP for easy product updates Remote I/O SEB7 6 RS85 Remote I/O SEB7 6 RS85 Remote I/O SEB70 6 RS85 I/O Expansion SEB70 6 3 6 3 Expansion header. One to four button CENTURION transmitter controlled by onboard RF receiver. A static IP address is recommended as the memory capabilities are not available until the DHCP server assigns the board an IP address 3. SDC550 only. Software Saflec Systems software is available in three different levels to suit the needs of any installation, no matter how large and sophisticated or small and simple. The Corporate Edition is the most comprehensive package followed by the Professional Edition. These Editions allow for the integration of Personnel Assistant software, designed to function as an enduser interface for the administration of user tags, adjusting permissions and other simple daytoday management of the system. In addition, they also allow for Remote Client software which provides additional administrators full use of the master software from remote computer terminals. The Standard Edition is a good solution for smaller installation where the full functionality of the system is not required. Main Features Easy, userfriendly installation and administration Antipassback, timed Antipassback and zone control Flexible Time and Accumulation exporting Sitebased configuration and hardware filtering Graphical event and alert monitoring and control PCbased actions for controlling third party devices such as CCTV, intrusion and fire systems Tagholder sequencing tasks (enforcing Time & Attendance clockings) Quick search filters, low bandwidth setting and onthefly configuration Random search and tag holder counters for scripting.
