Loading The Industry Weapon Application onto SD Card 1. Whether you are using a SD card or a Flash Card for your new BrightSign player, you will first need to make sure that you load the proper content onto it. 2. If you are using a SD card for your player, simply remove it from its packaging and insert the card via the SD card slot on your laptop or PC. 3. After it is inserted, you should be alerted with either a sound or just an added icon/message at the bottom right hand corner of your screen. The message will merely be notifying you that it recognizes the external drive. 4. To locate where the drive is, run a search and type in My Computer. 5. Once here, you will be able to see the inserted drive as well as all your other files and downloads, etc. 6. Under the Devices and Drives section, you should see the removable disk that you inserted (SDHC). Once you find it, double click to open the drive and access its content.

7. This will take you to a new screen which is shown below. As you can see, there are currently no files on this SD card. 8. Minimize this screen and open up the web browser of your choice. This is where you are going to go to download the content necessary for the new BrightSign player. 9. Paste the following link in your browser and it will immediately begin to download the associated zip file. The link is: https://cchdrsrc.channelshd.com/brightsign/brightsignsetup.zip 10. Locate the zip file once it has finished downloading. The name of the downloaded folder should be showing up as BrightSignSetUp. You can find this folder alongside any other downloaded content in the Downloads section of your computer. You can run a search if you are unsure where this folder is located.

11. Double click on the BrightSignPlayerSetUp Folder. The contents you should see are below: 12. Use Ctrl & C to copy both the autorun.brs file and iw zip file. You may then minimize this screen or keep it open if you want to drag and drop the two files into the SDHC external box.

13. If you have moved the files successfully, your screen should show both the iw zip file and the autorun.brs file on the SDHC card on the (F:) drive. 14. Lastly, exit out of the above screen and eject your SDHC card from your computer. It is now ready to be used with your BrightSign player.
