Overview This presentation highlights the evolutionary value provided across selected releases of IBM Lotus Notes software by outlining selected enhancements delivered across the following functional areas: Productivity Ease of use Personalization Replication and mobility Email Calendar and scheduling Contact Management Platform support 2

Lotus Notes Productivity Features Welcome Page that provides a customizable, central access point to information users need Connections, Setup, and W elcome Page wizards Bookmarks to desktop applications and user files in the file system Startup and History bookmark folders Edit documents in a View (rather than opening the document) Support for multiple users access on a single PC Searchable bookmarks Automatic and forced autosave of in-process documents Unsaved attachment warning Asynchronously open windows upon startup, for optimal productivity and performance Define exactly what windows open upon startup, for quick access to most frequently used resources 3
