RealPresence Mobile 2.0 for Android and ios Polycom RealPresence Mobile is an award-winning software application that lets customers securely extend the use of HD video collaboration beyond the conference room to easily connect tablets and smartphones (ios and Android) with other standards-based video systems. The free-to-download software solution built on the Polycom RealPresence Platform provides the required provisioning, redundancy, resiliency and reliability necessary for high-scale mobile deployments. This new release of RealPresence Mobile provides the following new features: Support for H.460 firewall traversal in standalone mode Ability to access media statistics by clicking the icon Support for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.2 SHW-M480K tablet The new SmartPairing manual mode (ios 5.0 and later) to enable the ipad to control Polycom room systems Support for Enterprise SVC solution, a scalable media relay conferencing solution based on SVC video and SAC audio codecs Software Distribution The RealPresence Mobile application can be downloaded and installed directly from Google Play for supported Android devices or from the Apple Store for ipad and iphones. Professional Features The Professional Features are enabled with a dynamic provisioning connection with the RealPresence Resource Manager or CMA. Other RealPresence platform components provide additional features: the RMX for multipoint and SVC calls, DMA for high scale call signaling, RealPresence Access Director for firewall traversal and the RSS for recording and streaming support. Collecting Log Files on ipad or iphone The collection of log files on ios systems (ipad and iphone) is completed using the itunes application. Simply connect either device and perform a standard sync process. After the sync, follow the process below: 1. Click the ipad or iphone device in the left hand panel 2. Select the Apps tab 3. Collecting Log Files on an Android Device The collection of log files on an Android phone or tablet is completed by connecting the device to the computer via USB cable and following the process below: 1. Open Windows Explorer and select the device in the left hand panel 2. Open the disk for the device and navigate to the Polycom folder 3. Highlight all log files in this directory 4.
