Artix 5.6.4 for Java Release Notes These release notes contain information about the Artix 5.6.4 for Java release from Micro Focus. New and Changed Features The following features are new in Artix 5.6.4 for Java: Apache Components Upgrade Apache Components Upgrade Artix 5.6.4 for Java has been upgraded from using Apache CXF version 3.0.3 to version 3.0.12, and from Apache Camel 2.14.1 to 2.14.4. Supported Standards Artix 5.6.4 for Java supports the following XML and Web services specifications: SR Specifications JAX-WS - Java API for XML-Based WebServices 2.2 - JSR-224. GIOP 1.2 (default), 1.1, and 1.0 IDL-to-Java Language Mapping (formal/99-07-53) JDK Support Note: Artix 5.6.4 for Java supports up to JDK 1.8, and requires a minimum level of JDK 1.7. (If you use JDK 1.7, update 6 or later version is required by Artix Security because of the following JDK bug: http://bugs.java.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=2225327 ) For an HP-PA RISC system (see Platforms and Compilers ), the highest JDK level supported is 1.6. Deprecated Features Documentation Updates The following features are deprecated in Artix 5.6.4 for Java and will be removed in a future release: In Java routing, the MESSAGE data format is deprecated and replaced with the RAW format. Resolved Issues The resolved issues that customers have reported are listed in this section. The numbers that follow each issue are the Reported Problem Incident number followed by the Customer Incident Numbers (in parentheses). RPIs that have numbers only (and no text) are included to confirm that the RPIs have been fixed, since no further information is required. Artix 5.6.4 ships with Apache CXF version CXF 3.0.12, in order to resolve Apache CXF Vulnerability CVE-2015-5253: see http://cxf.apache.org/security-advisories.data/cve-2015-525 3.txt.asc for details.
