Time Formatting for Survey Administration Views Description Survey administrators now have the option of setting a time zone for users. You can find the new feature in the Add/Edit User dialog. In addition, the time displayed on the Tasks and Reports tabs for survey administrators now reflects the time zone selected on the My Account page. For all parts of the application that localize times, the time zone is applied only for dates with time. For example, dates without time, such as start time and end time for inactive user reports, are not converted to Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) to collect the records. Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) is a time standard based on International Atomic Time (TAI) with leap seconds added at irregular intervals to compensate for the Earth s slowing rotation. 10. Appendix A Known Issues Page 53 of 55

Appendix A Known Issues Area Varied Manage Reports Manage Responses Manage Responses Profiles Questionnaire Designer Schedule Events Issue In some instances, when a survey author directly types HTML or JavaScript into the questionnaire designer, the question renders as a code on some report elements. This does not apply to the surveys and is not visible to survey participants. To avoid the problem, you can use the rich text editor or code blocks to format text. You can also export the reports to edit and remove the tags. This will be fixed in a future release. If you add a question with images to your profile, collect data on the profile, report on it, and then export the report, the question images do not export with the question text. This will be fixed in a future release. Date validated fill in the blank responses appear in the Manage Responses grid with a 12:00:00 a.m. time stamp to enable filtering on those responses. When you export to SPSS, the number of characters per cell is limited to 255. This will be resolved in a future release. In some instances, when you import responses into a profile, the UI shows a cell with &nbsp if there is no answer rather than an empty cell. This is a cosmetic issue that does not impact the database, and will be fixed in a future release. In some instances, when you create an end page that is set to Display Live Results or Display Respondent Answers but do not allow a respondent to print or e-mail the responses, the e-mail and subject line default text will be blank. To avoid this, create and save new text for both. When creating or editing tasks in Standard Mode, the time stamps are in the time zone selected by the user. These time stamps are shown in the List view, and tasks are executed at this time. However, the time stamps in the Day, Week, or Month view appear in UTC or GMT time. To avoid potential confusion when creating tasks in Standard Mode, use the List view to see when tasks will be executed. Page 54 of 55

Surveys Surveys Surveys The Reset button does not work with the new Drag & Drop Rank Order and Choose One/Many with Image question types or Sliders. Users constructing a survey may want to avoid adding the Reset button if using these question types in a survey. In some instances, when you create a survey and add a quota, and then enable the Display Live Results with Highlight the Respondent Answers end page, the respondent will receive the results with two answers highlighted the one he/she gave and a second one. To allow respondents to see their answers, enable the Display Respondent Answers end page instead. When the Jump button is enabled, the theme is set to Cotton, Khaki, or Worldwide Blue, and the respondent clicks the Jump button, the screen appears with scroll bars across the bottom. The issue is a cosmetic one as the functionality works; however, survey authors may want to preview the Jump page before deployment. Page 55 of 55
