1. Access to backend Login to the backend: http://rwi-wordpress.webhotel.net/rockwool/admin/ Username: admin Password: roxandreuls7819 (Password updated 19-08-2016) The backend is available only in English. Digital Media, Group Marketing 3
2 Front page At the front page you need to choose the county that you want to make the map functionality for. IMPORTANT: Be sure to choose the right country. After choosing the relevant country the left navigation will appear: The chosen country appears in the header from now on Digital Media, Group Marketing 4
2.1 Left navigation Back to the front page Provides a list of the stockists that you have created in the system. You have the option to Edit or Delete a stockist from this list. Within this area you can create a new stockist and add a range. Her you will download the base XLS that you should use for your stockist entrances. As well as uploading the adapted file. The system will geocode the data automatically. You can also export the stockists. Segments allow you to divide your dealers into segments (e.g. residential, industrial etc.). This will add an additional dropdown in the frontend showing the segments Within this area you edit the assortment that you have created you have the option to edit or delete. The actual creation of the assortment is done when you create the stockist. Installers give you the opportunity to set special maps for installers The standard system provides an English front end. You can change the entire front end glossary to the local language. This is the final step in the process. Within this area you create that JS code that you need to insert on your webpage (via a Synkron Via HTML document). Digital Media, Group Marketing 5
3 Stockists 3.1 Overview In this section you can overview the full list of stockist that you have in the system. You can choose to edit or delete the stockist directly from this point or to delete all stockists. 3.2 Import stockist You can import the stockist by uploading a XLS file. It should be based on the XLS file that has been predefined in the system. 3.2.1 Download the XLS file 1. Go to Stockist 2. Click on Import/Export stockist 3. Click on the link XLS Example 4. This file can now be filled in with your stockist data. 5. IMPORTANT: Do not alter the column heading. They should stay as they are - no more, no less 6. You are however allowed to delete or changed the Segment headers Digital Media, Group Marketing 6
7. IMPORTANT: Make sure you don t have any formatting in your cells, like frames around the cells or hyperlinks File example In column I and J you have the option to enter a Longitude and Latitude. This means that you are able to enter the exact map-position of the stockist if you already have the Lon and Lat values. You can also choose to leave the cells empty. In column L, M and so forth you have the option to add segments information to each dealer. The user will in the search be able to filter his search within the segments that are applied. Change the column header to be the segment name and write the segment name next to the stockist. If not segments are needed delete the columns 3.2.2 Uploading the stockist file Once you ve followed the steps above and filled out your stockist you are ready to upload 1. Click Choose file choose a file from you PC 2. Then click Create new stockist After the upload the system will report the result of the geocoding i.e. how many of the addresses that Google could geocode automatically and how many were unsuccessful. Those that cannot be found will be marked with red in the list. You need to provide more information and position them on the map. Digital Media, Group Marketing 7

3.3 Create new stockist manually You can add stockist manually by adding the stockist address and zip code press Search. Google will attempt to geocode and place the address on a map on the basis of the information that you have entered (see below). Goggle is not always able to recognise the address that you have entered. In those cases you need to check/specify the address and locate the position on the map manually (by moving the marker to the right position). You can zoom with the mouse-wheel or the navigator in the top left corner. Remember to save the position when you are done. Digital Media, Group Marketing 9
In this case Google has recognized the address and placed in on the map (see map below). You need to approve the position or adjust the position by moving and placing the marker. You also need to fill in the stockist data. You have the option to create segments and the assortment or choose which segment the stockist belongs to or which part of the assortment the stockist provides (check-boxes). This information will be available for the user on the frontend. Finally you need to save the position and data or refresh by pressing Read position Digital Media, Group Marketing 10
3.4 Change/delete stockist If you want to either change or delete a stockist from the database you should start by exporting the stockist by clicking the Export stockist. This will create an Excel sheet for you to save: The export file has a slightly different structure than the XLS file for upload. No columns or rows should be removed from this file if you want to import data to the system again. Column A holds the ID for each stockist. This ID is unique and used for the system to recognise the stockist when importing again. Column K holds the status for the stockist. The status indicates what the system should do to the stockist. The following status can be set. Make sure you set the status according to what you want the system to do with the stockist. 1 equals no change 2 equals a change (e.g. change of address) and indicates to the system that it should automatically geocode the stockist when imported to the system 0 equals deletion of the stockist. 4 Assortment In the Assortment section you are able to see your assortment groups. If you want to add an assortment group you do it at the individual stockist (see page 7) it will then be added to this list below. 5 Glossary You can add your local language to the front end. Please translate and fill in your local version in the text-fields. Remember to press Update glossary (in the bottom) at the end or during the process. Digital Media, Group Marketing 12
6 Implementing into Episerver The Dealer Finder is presented via the Dealer Finder block To get the date from Dealer Finder into the Dealer Finder block you set the id in the SiteSettings (see the id highlighted below in red). This will set the id for all Dealer Finder blocks used on the website. On the individual blocks you have the option to overrule this if you have different Dealer Finders 7 Implementing on the website Synkron Via In order to implement the map functionality on your website you need to generate the JS code code that you should put into Synkron Via. 1. Under Code Generator choose Generate JS-code 2. Set the first three drop down 3. Click Generate code 4. A map should be created for both desktop and mobile Digital Media, Group Marketing 13
5. Implement the code into VIA using a XHTML document If you want to preview the result (before implementing it in the CMS) you copy the following part of the code and paste it into the browser web address: http://rwi-wordpress.webhotel.net/rockwool/?key=1&kid=1&land=england&locale=en&css=http://rwiwordpress.webhotel.net/rockwool/css/clean_layout.css Please notice that the code is specific for your country therefore you cannot use the part above. 7 Implementation of JS-code and code in Synkron Via Begin by creating the page that you want to place the Google map on. Add a document in your document-tree and choose to base it on the XHTML template: Choose the XHTML template Next step is to insert the full JS-code into the document (remember to choose Third party code in the dropdown above the code-field).
