CPE Hours / Certificate of participation: ISACA Members will obtain credit of 13 CPE hours for 2 days course and the participants for 3 days course taking on examination will earn 19.5 CPE hours in accordance with ISACA guidelines with the certificate of participation. Faculty and COBIT-5 Accredited Trainer : Sunil Bakshi Sunil Bakshi MCA, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CISSP, PMP, CEH, AMIIB, ABCI, ISO 27001 LA, BS25999 LI Sunil has been worked with State Bank of India for 25 years as IT Manager. He has also worked as Manager in Enterprise Risk Services group of Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu India Private Limited, Mumbai and as Senior Manager in Wipro consulting services. Sunil was CISO of National Stock Exchange. Currently he is free-lance consultant and trainer in IT governance and Information Security. Sunil is Senior Member of Computer Society of India is a Patron of Pune chapter. He was Chairman of Pune chapter. He is also member of ISACA and was president of Pune chapter. He was member of International Membership board of ISACA, USA and CISM and CRISC Test Enhancement committee of ISACA. Currently he is working on CRISC Certification committee of ISACA International and part of QA team of CISA and CISM technical review manuals. Sunil is also member of Association of Technical Scholarships (AOTS), Japan. Sunil has written number of articles on Information Systems Security and Audit topics in various national and International publications like Information Systems Control Journal of ISACA, USA, CSI Communications of Computer Society of India, etc. Sunil has presented various topics at many national and international conferences organized by ISACA, CSI, ICAI.
What is COBIT 5? : COBIT-5 is a Business Framework addressing need for the Governance and Management of Enterprise IT. COBIT-5 enables IT to be governed and managed in a holistic manner for the entire enterprise, taking in the full end-to-end business and IT functional areas of responsibility, considering the IT-related interests of internal and external stakeholders. COBIT-5 is generic and useful for enterprises of all sizes, whether commercial, not-for-profit or in the public sector. Who will benefit from attending this workshop? COBIT-5 Foundation course learning objectives : The participants will understand during 2 days : How IT management issues are affecting organizations The need for an effective framework to govern and manage enterprise IT with key challenges of using IT How COBIT meets the requirement for an IT governance framework How COBIT is used with other standards and best practices The functions that COBIT provides and the benefits of using COBIT The COBIT Framework and all the components of COBIT How to apply COBIT in a practical situation Optional : Examination on 3 rd day for COBIT-5 Foundation to be conducted by APMG Workshop-cum-training benefits and take-ways : Full set of COBIT-5 Foundation course presentation material by the chapter A certificate of participation with credit of 13 CPE hours to be issued by ISACA Mumbai chapter after successful completion to the participants of 2 days workshop and 19.5 CPE hours for 3 days workshop at the end of COBIT-5 Foundation. The participants who are opting for examination will get COBIT-5 Foundation certificate awarded by ISACA/APMG upon successful passing of the examination and the same will be sent to them in due course of time. Participants cannot take the examination alone without booking the course. Maximum 25 % seats can be allocated to non-members. Members are requested to register early, to avoid disappointment, as the seats are restricted to 22 participants only, by completing the Registration Form and making appropriate payment of fees by cheque from a local bank or a draft payable in Pune in favour of "ISACA Pune chapter". Registration & Cancellation Policy : You can register as member only in case you have renewed your membership with ISACA. Upon verification if it comes across that your name does not appear in membership roster then you will be required to pay additional fees applicable to non members. Registration for the workshop event will be confirmed only after fee payment is received. An official receipt will be sent to the participants registered The bookings would be confirmed only after fee payments are received on or before i.e. 15 th Dec 2014. Notification of withdrawal in writing / by email received within 2 working days or more before the event will be processed for refund after deduction of 15% of the fees toward cancellation charges No refund will be made for cancellation at a shorter notice. The Management reserves the right to change any of the aforesaid condition in the interest of the Chapter.
