INSTALLATION NOTES AM/FM/USB CD/MP3 PLAYER WITH BLUETOOTH 1. Please read these installation and operation instructions before installation. 2. Make sure to connect all other wires before power connection. 3. To avoid a short, please make sure all connection wires are crimped or insulated. 4. Secure fix all wires after installation. 5. Please wire the unit according to this instruction manual. Wrong connections may cause damage. 6. This unit is suitable for 12V DC operation only. INSTALLATION Insert the mounting sleeve to the RV and bend the tabs outward for a tight fit. - Pre-wire the two connectors to the RV s electrical system. - Connect the two connectors and antenna cable, plus rear RV input lead if used and slide the unit in to the cradle until it locks in place. - The unit can be further supported at the rear if required using the supplied mounting strap. REMOVAL OF THE UNIT 1.Insert the keys supplied on the both sides of the unit (shown as illustrated) until they click. Pull the keys to remove the unit from the RV. LOCATION OF CONTROLS CONNECTION 1. This player can only be used by the 12V DC systems. 2. Please make sure to connect the yellow wire to positive battery(+) if you want to maintain the clock time. 3. If changing the fuse, please make sure you use a fuse of the same value 4. Using quality RV Media speakers will ensure you get the optimum sound quality from the system. 4
GENERAL OPERATION Turn the unit on/off Press button (1) to turn on the unit. Press and hold this button to turn the unit off. SETTING THE CLOCK Press and hold the DISP button (6) for 3 seconds to set the hour. The hour display will start flashing. Press or to adjust the hour. Press the DISP button briefly to adjust the minutes. The minutes display will start flashing. Use or buttons to adjust the minutes. When completed, press the DISP button briefly to complete the clock adjustment. MUTE Press the /MUTE button (1) to mute the audio output. Press it again to restore audio output. Source selection* Press the SOURCE (5) button to select the desired source: Radio BLUETOOTH CD USB AUX IN TV IN. *Note. The Bluetooth, CD & USB sources will only be displayed as options if there is a Bluetooth connection or a CD or USB is inserted. Sound Settings Press the Select button (2) to select the desired sound & tuner settings in the following order: BAS (Bass) -> TRE (Treble) -> BAL (Balance) -> FAD (Fader)-> BEEP (on/off)-> EQ (EQ Off* Flat Classical Pop - Rock) -> XBASS(on/off)-> LOC(on/off)-> STEREO (Stereo/Mono) -> AREA (AUS/LAT/EUR)->VOL. Rotate the Volume control clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust these settings. *Note. Bass and Treble can only be adjusted when the EQ is set to EQ OFF Auxiliary Input (3.5mm Front / RCA TV In Rear) The unit can be connected to a portable audio player through the front 3.5mm AUX IN jack (10) in AUX IN mode or rear RCA line in TV IN mode. Press the Source button to select the desired mode. RADIO OPERATION Band selection In radio mode, press the BAND button (12) to select the desired band: FM1-> FM2 -> FM3-> AM1-> AM2. Station search Manual Tuning Press and hold buttons or (8/7) to manually tune up/down to a desired station frequency. Automatic Tuning Press / buttons (8/7) to auto seek up/down to the next station. Preset Scan and Auto Store stations QT Quick Tune (great when you are travelling to new towns) In radio mode, press and hold the QT (12) button for 2 seconds to auto store the strongest local stations. After the stations are scanned, the unit will scan through the stations for about 5 seconds each. Press the preset number at any time to stop on a desired station. *Note. QT stations are stored in the FM3 band. This is done so you can store your home town stations in FM1 or FM2 and use FM3 while travelling. -Manually store station & recall preset station 1-6 (3/13/14/6/11/10) 1. Tune to a station with or (7/8) buttons. 2. Press and hold one of the 1-6 preset buttons for 2 seconds until LCD shows the corresponding number, indicating the station has been stored in this number. 3. Press 1-6 preset buttons to listen to stored stations. 6
RDS (Radio Data System) Operation RDS is a data system transmitted over the FM frequency and provides extra features like the station title display. Setting RDS modes Press and hold Select button (2) for 2 seconds into the RDS menu: AF(on/off)->TA(on/off)->PTY SEL(on/off) ->TA VOL->REG(on/off) After selecting the desired mode, rotating volume button (2) to adjust. Alternative Frequency (AF) On this unit, the AF function can set the clock via the RDS data when in FM mode. To do this, select ON. If the radio station supports it, this function can also change to a stronger version of a station if available (eg ABC). This feature is only useful while listening in moving vehicles. Traffic Announcement (TA) Program type selection (PTY) TA VOL REG (Region) ON / OFF CD/MP3/WMA operation Insert the CD with it s label facing upwards. The CD can be a standard Audio CD or it can contain MP3/WMA files. SELECTING TRACKS/FILES Press (7) or button (8) to move to the previous/following track. Hold (7) or button (8) to rewind or fast forward. PAUSING PLAY Press button (18) to pause CD player or USB file. Press it again to resume play. PREVIEWING ALL TRACK/FILES Press INT button (17) to switch on/off INTRO function. This will play a preview of the songs on the CD or USB folder. REPEATING THE SAME TRACK/FILE Press RPT button (16) to repeat the same track/file. Press it again to repeat all tracks/files. RANDOM PLAYBACK Press RDM button (17) to switch on/off the random function. EJECTING A DISC Press button (9) to stop disc playing and eject the disc from the disc slot (5). SELECT DIRECTORY UP/DOWN Press DIR-button (14) or DIR+ button (13) to select previous/next directory. SKIP -10/+10 SONGS When playing MP3/WMA files, press and hold DIR- / DIR+ button (14/13) for 2 seconds to -10/+10 advance or go back 10 songs. 8
FILE SEARCH When playing MP3/WMA files, press the BAND button to search. There are two ways to files: 1) Searching by folder (press Band button once). Press the (7) or buttons to scroll through the folders. The folder name will be display on the LCD screen. Once you find your desired folder, press the select/volume knob. The number of tracks in the folder will then be shown. Then press the button screoll through the songs in the folder (usually you just select the first song in the folder). Then press the select/volume knob to start playing the songs in that folder. 2) Searching by the file number. You can directly enter a song number if you know it. Use the numeric keys in the unit to enter the song number. For numbers above 6 & 0, please use the following buttong: 0: Disp 7: SOURCE 8: 9: USB operation Connect a USB drive to the USB port (11), the unit will switch to USB mode automatically. If a USB has already been inserted, press the Source button (5) to switch to USB mode. When playing the MP3/WMA files in the unit, the operation is the same with the CD/MP3/WMA operations described above. Note *There are many USB devices on the market. We cannot guarantee support all available models. Please try another USB device if yours is not supported. BLUETOOTH OPERATION As this unit has been specifically designed for the RV market, it features A2DP Bluetooth Audio Streaming however it does not include a Car Kit. PAIRING 1) On your mobile device or Tablet, select the Bluetooth. (Please refer to the instruction manual of your device on how to operate Bluetooth if unsure.) 2) RV MEDIA CD should appear in the Bluetooth list on your device. Please select RV MEDIA CD and then input password 0000, if a password is required. 3) When successfully paired LINKED will scroll on the LCD screen and a Bluetooth icon will be displayed on LCD while the device is connected. Bluetooth audio (A2DP function) Press Sourec button (5) switch to BT mode. Select a Bluetooth source on your device (eg music, podcast, streaming radio etc) and play. Press the button on the front panel of the unit to pause/play the song. Press the button (8) or button (7) to select next/previous tracks. If you change source on the unit, or turn it off, it will resume where the track left off when you select Bluetooth as a source again on the unit. REMOTE CONTROL This unit is supplied with an IR remote control which will allow you to adjust the most common functions of the unit. Please snsure you point the remote towards the face of the unit at an angle no greater tha 60 degrees. 10

This will restore the unit to its factory settings. Note: After you reset the unit, memory settings will be lost. Before going through the checklist, check the wiring connections. If any of the problems persist after you have worked through the checklist, please contact Camec or your Camec dealer. Disc cannot be loaded or ejected. No sound. CD Skips Operation keys do not work. No Radio stations found. QT does not find any stations. 1. A CD may already be in the player. 2. Disc inserted upside down. 3. Compact disc is extremely dirty or detective disc. 4. Burnt or copied CD. 5. Condensation. 1.Volume is in minimum 2.Mute may be activated. 3.Speaker(s) not working/faulty The disc is extremely dirty or worn. The built-in microprocessor has hung. The antenna cable is not connected. The radio signal may be too weak. 1.Remove the disc in the player, then insert the new one. 2. Insert the compact disc with the label facing upward. 3. Clean the disc or try to play a new one. 4. Ensure the disc has been closed properly after burning. 5. Turn the player off for an hour then resume playing. 1.Adjust volume to a desired level. 2.Press the Select/Volume knob to disable Mute. 3.Check Speaker connections Check that speakers are working (eg quickly touch speaker wire pairs with a 9V battery so you hear a crackle through the speaker. Clean the compact disc, with a dedicated CD cleaner. Press the RESET button on the front panel to Reset the unit. Insert the antenna cable firmly. Select a station manually. Symptom Possible Cause Solution No power. 1. 12V not supplied to the unit 2. The fuse is blown. 1. Check that +12V is being supplied to both red & yellow power wires. 2.
