EQUIPMENT FEATURES & BENEFITS: Wireless First Responder Loudspeaker Unit with 2 channel VHF Integrated/Internal Wireless Receiver & Transmitter Pack The Wireless First Responder (WFR) is a tool designed to help to ensure that your agency s message is heard loud and clear in virtually any general public address or high risk application. HOSTAGE/CRISIS NEGOTIATIONS: Allows Crisis Negotiator to initiate immediate communications with a subject or multiple subjects involved in a standoff situation. Unlike a bullhorn which discloses the location of the operator, the WFR Loudspeaker unit's remote/wireless function allows for communication while staying out of harms way and under proper cover. TACTICAL RESPONSE: Allows Tactical staff to broadcast their commands, instructions, or surrender ritual loudly and clearly to an individual subject or a large group of unruly individuals. Unlike a bullhorn which requires the operator to hold the device, the WFR allows for hands free operations allowing for immediate weapon access. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT: Allows First Responders to give instructions to the public from safe distances to help ensure minimal exposure to potentially contaminated individuals and direct victims of a natural disaster to relief stations. Remote/Wireless Operations Delivered with a Transmitter Pack that wirelessly transmits audio data to the WFR Loudspeaker unit s internal/integrated VHF Receiver to distances of 150 to 200 ft.
