Clamp-on ultrasonic water meter refers to the flow transducer is clamp-on type, which is clamped onto pipe surface. Clamp-on installing way doesn t need to cut pipe,so there is no pressure drop,no risk of leakage,no maintainance,etc. But as it is battery powered, clamp-on ultrasonic water meter can t get the same accurate level as that of main powered ultrasonic flow meter.
