System Overview This client Portal contains a statement (the Statement ) setting out what the books and records of Beaufort Asset Clearing Services ( BACSL ) record as being your entitlements to client money and client assets. It also provides you with a mechanism to notify the Special Administrators (the Administrators ) of BACSL as to whether you agree or disagree with the information contained in the Statement. We strongly recommend that you review this information now and respond by the bar date deadline which has been set by the Administrators in accordance with regulations 11 and 12A of the Investment Bank Special Administration Regulations 2011 (the Bar Date ). The Bar Date has been set for 8 June 2018. If you disagree with any of the client money and client asset information presented within the Portal, you need to notify the Administrators and supply details via the Portal. If you fail to notify the Administrators of your disagreement prior to the passing of the Bar Date (8 June 2018), this may adversely affect the extent of any distribution that is subsequently made to you, as clients who submit claims after the Bar Date are not guaranteed to have their claims taken into account when distributions are made. If you disagree with the information in the Portal, please provide specific details relating to any differences including stock name and stock quantity together with a description of any differences by 8 June 2018 in the Client Confirmation section. You must do so by completing the mandatory questions explaining which line items of the Statement you disagree with, why you disagree with them, and attaching evidence in support of your explanations. The Administrators' team will contact you in due course to request any further information needed to resolve any differences. This user guide has been prepared for information purposes only and is subject to change without notice. It is not intended to create, alter or amend any further rights or existing rights between clients and Beaufort Securities Limited or BACSL. 3
