Operation AV1 = Video 1 input AV2 = Video 2 input (but only when signal is detected, overrides any visual) AV3 = DVR video Rearview or Backup camera: Connect camera to AV2, when in reverse the monitor will automatically switch the display to the camera. When reverse is disengaged, the source will automatically switch back. Mode Button Operation:
A short button press = monitor on/off (Note: DVR still records if visual is off) A long button press = switching between DVR (AV3) and AV1 input Intelligent Ambient Sensor Function: The screen brightness will be adjusted according to ambient light changes. In high light conditions, the screen brightness will be higher; in dark conditions, the screen brightness will be weaker. How to set time and date: This can be done in any mode (DVR, Still or playback). Note: if in DVR, recording must be stopped by pressing the Menu button on the remote. 1. Press Mode Select button on the remote to enter the settings menu. Press it again to enter the General settings menu. This menu is the same on ALL modes. 2. Press / for Date selection, press Menu to go to the next setup, then / for Time Selection. 3. After time is set, press Mode Select button to return to the first menu. 4. Remote Operation: Standard Operation Power Button: off/on for the monitor Video Select: Changes modes (Video / Still / Playback) Mode Select: Enters the settings menus and acts as the enter selection when in the menus When in DVR mode, not recording Menu: will start and stop video recording / Buttons: Zoom in and out, when zoomed all the way out Short cuts When in DVR mode, recording : audio recording off/on : turn motion detection off/on Video Select: lock the current recording so it will not be written over When in Still mode Menu: Will take a snapshot / Buttons: Zoom in and out, when zoomed all the way out
