Skyline: Main Tracking Screen Upon login you will get your first look at the new tracking screen, it s very different to earlier versions - we hope you like it. You ll note that the map, the tree (filters) and the grid are missing. Don t worry they are still there, just hidden at the moment. Our first task is to unhide these elements and configure the landing page to your choice. NOTE: Route Replay Users. Route replay has been moved and is now located within the Tools menu.
To show the tree: Step 1: Hover mouse over Filters tab & left click. It will appear & auto-hide after 5 seconds unless you are working in it. Step 2: Click the pin if you don t want the tree to auto-hide. Click the pin again to toggle back to auto-hide. Step 3: Hover the mouse over the text Tracking Grid & left click. The grid will appear and auto-hide after 5 seconds unless you are working with it or opt to pin the grid.
To pin the Grid to stop it auto-hiding follow the instructions below: Step 1: Click the pin icon to stop the grid from auto-hiding. Click the pin icon again to toggle back to auto-hide mode. Using the pin icons (highlighted below) you can configure the main tracking screen to show the elements you most frequently use, the filters (tree), the grid, both or neither: NOTE: If you are sharing a user account with a colleague who is using a different screen size or requires different elements of the main tracking screen to be visible then please contact us to request a unique user account support@enigmatelematics.com

Reporting Apart from the appearance of the screen the main change to our reports is the display of distance in the unit of measurement of your choice. We were previously displaying both KM & Miles (which you can still do) however now you have the option to display units in either imperial or metric. This is configured via the User Settings menu accessible via Tools or via the Welcome User link in the top right of the page. Other small changes have been made to report contents for example the inclusion of a Journey Cost column being the main one. How do I find what I m looking for? You ll notice, from the screen shot below, that there are now only 2 tabs in this module. The Favourites tab enables you to select your most used reports to be displayed at the top of the report dropdowns for easy access. Simply click on the star next to your chosen report and it will become a Favourite and will appear at the top of the list. Click again if you don t want it to be a Favourite. Within the report tab favourites will be at the very top of the report list like this: If you ve created any Custom Reports these will be highlighted in a pale lilac colour.
All Reports have been amalgamated under one section as oppose individual tabs for Individual, Group, Admin, Driver and Reminder All reports will be found under the single Reports tab. Select Individual, Group, Admin, Driver or Reminder from the Report Type dropdown. The Select Report dropdown will then populate with the relevant reports. Access to the Custom Report and Report Scheduler menus can be gained from here or via new entries under the Tools menu. New options to E-MAIL a report or to EXPORT directly to PDF or Excel

Vehicles Details We ve dedicated more than just a few words to the new Vehicle Details menu because there are quite a few changes which we need to do justice. You ll note that there a number of new tabs relating to the vehicle which weren t there before: Vehicle Costs Reminders Security Zones Software Zones Alarm Contacts Event Schedules Report Schedules PIN Code Vehicle Control Warranty Info New vehicle specific information available under the various tabs, with the ability to configure a vehicle from within this menu. Ability to change icon colour from within the Vehicle Details menu
As above you can now see all vehicle related information together with any schedules, zones, reminders and other features such as PIN code and vehicle control that a specific vehicle has. The Vehicle Cost section is the beginning of a new feature within Skyline which will enable detailed vehicle and plant cost analysis on a per mile/km/hour basis. Vehicle costs can be entered in Cost 1 and Cost 2. All costs to be entered in up to 4 decimal places per KM or Mile dependant on users settings e.g. if fuel is 20 dollar cents per KM this would be entered as 0.20. For assistance click the Help icon. Fuel cost to be entered if based on fixed or if dynamic this data can be imported. Vehicle Free Text Free Text Fields (1 & 2) have been introduced as a way of allowing users to further define/categorise their vehicles. In simple terms these are just two fields in which the user can enter any information they wish however they are very powerful in terms of what they can allow the user to do. In addition to the information stored in Make/Model/Vehicle Type and the group it sits within, users can classify vehicles in greater detail i.e. by a description such as 1.5T Excavator or HGV Tipper/Rigid or by a region/operating area, a depot or a contract etc. Once entered this information can be used to create View Groups, which can then be used to populate the grid, to run and schedule reports against so as an example a fleet manager could start to compare data for regions or produce reports for vehicles on certain contracts. The key features are: Add Free text fields 1 & 2 to the grid (via Tools > User Settings) Create View Groups based on data contained in the Free Text Fields
View and edit information contained in the Free Text Fields (via Tools > Vehicle Details) Add Free Text 1 & 2 fields to Custom Reports (via Tools > Custom Reports) Manage (add/edit/delete) free text entries, this menu can be accessed via the Manage link that will appear against Free Text 1 & 2 in the Vehicle Details or via Tools > Vehicle Free Text (fig 6) You may need some initial training to get started with free text. Please call or mail the support team for help. Zone Management This area has seen a significant change to previous version of Skyline. Until now all zones were on an asset by asset basis with circular zones stored within each unit. This feature is still available and will continue to be supported. Most current generation Skyline tracking units can hold 25 circular zones. Going forward these circular zones have been re-named Security Zones Within Skyline 7.5 there is a new feature we ve called Software Zones. The key features are: Circular or irregular shaped with up to 20 points Can be applied at account, group, group view or to a selection of vehicles/assets Zones are inherited when an asset moves to a group Zones are disinherited when an asset moves from a group A new range of alerts have been added including speeding within the zone Alerts can be on-screen or by e-mail at no cost. SMS is at extra cost New zone management function to add, edit, delete, assign & review zones is included You may need some initial training to get started with zones. Please call or mail the support team for help.
