Objective About this guide This guide is intended to inform and educate about the Software Partner process and provide step-by-step information for users that want to get certified* *NOTE: The former software division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise is now part of Micro Focus. 2 The Micro Focus partner ecosystem now includes former Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software partners. Until Fall of 2018 both partner programs will continue to operate separately as the Micro Focus Partner Program and the Software Partner Program. This document applies to the Software Partner Program Distribution Channel and as such all references to Software contained herein are aligned to the Software Partner Program.

Software Path Sales s (SCs) Validates you have the foundational skills to work with customers in selling Software Products and Solutions Confirms that you understand their value to the business and are able to qualify, propose, negotiate and close deals in your BU speciality Presales Technical s (PTCs) Validates you have the foundational skills to provide technical consulting work with customers in selling Software Products and Solutions Confirms that you understand their value to the business and can provide technical support along the sales process including: Technical Sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training Accredited Software Professional (ASP), Accredited Software Expert (ASE), Certified Software Expert (CSE) and beyond Validates you have the skills to provide post sales technical expertise to customers that have purchased Software Products and Solutions Confirms that you understand and have the ability to provide technical support including: Integration, Implementation, deployment and support for the product/solution based on the certification attained Proctored Exams lead to level 4 End-to-End Program across Software portfolio Required to receive credit for the Software Partner Program Provided by Software Enablement - Scope of this User Guide Available for selected products only Accepted for meeting Software Partner Program requirements Provided by Software Education

Get Software Partner Community Access Get Software Partner Community access Step 1: Log into the Software Partner Community softwarepartner.microfocus.c om. You can login with the same credentials used on the HPE Partner Ready Portal. Step 2: If you are a new user, select the appropriate "Register as and follow the instructions to complete your registration. Step 3: Once you have submitted your registration the system automatically creates your contact with the basic login license. 7
Get Learner ID Get Learner ID Step 4: Once your contact has been created, the system creates a Passport ID and a Learner ID and will send you an email with a password set up link so you can establish your Passport password. Step 5: If you already have a Portal log-in and Learner ID you will find the Learner ID on the Home tab of the portal or in the Learning Center under the Me tab 8

For Presales Technical : Level 300 Click on the certification of your choice (e.g. PTC- ITSMA 2017) This will get you to the curriculum that corresponds to that certification. IMPORTANT: Register for the curriculum BEFORE you start completing the required modules. 11
Complete Your Complete your COMPLETE all required courses and exams in the curriculum 12 IMPORTANT : Click on Complete Registration BEFORE you start completing all required courses and exams in the curriculum You may want to take additional foundational training that is available in the same page at the 100, 200 or 300 levels Once you have finalized all the required modules in the curriculum you will get a complete sign. Once you successfully complete the required curriculum the certification will be awarded to you and you can save or print your certificate
Print/save your Certificate Complete your Please note: you are certified once you complete the required modules in a curriculum. If a course is marked as optional you do not need to complete it. In order to print your certificate click print from the top of the page Alternatively you can also go to the Me tab on the main menu in the Learning Center and then click Completed Learning to display a list of all of the courses and curricula that you have successfully completed. You can click the blue Print Certificate button to view and print your certificate of completion. If you want to download the certificate, click the down arrow and select Export Certificate. 13
