Step 1: Installation of Pulse Secure and RSA SecurID Software Option A: SCCM Installation (Sasol Devices) 1.1 Install Pulse Client and RSA SecureID from Software Centre Page 3 of 8
Option B: (Contractor Devices No SCCM) Download Pulse Secure Desktop Client from here Download RSA SecurID Software from here Step 2: Import Token (Received via E-Mail) 1.1 Click on Start > navigate to All Programs > then scroll down to RSA and click on RSA SecurID to launch the RSA SecurID Client Software Token. 1.2 Click on the options button and select Import Token 1.3 You will be given the option to search for the Token in the form of the.sstid file received via E-Mail by the user. 1.4 You will be prompted to change the Token name this isn t necessary, click OK to continue. 1.5 Message to reflect Token import was successful Step 3: Create login Pin 2.1 Navigate to - https://remote-access.sasol.com (Acknowledge Certificate Issue) Page 5 of 8
2.2 Enter your Sasol email address in the Username field 2.3 Open the RSA SecurID client 2.4 Leave Enter PIN field blank and click on the arrow to the right of the empty field 2.5 Click the Copy button to copy the token code which is displayed and paste it into Enter PIN field. Page 6 of 8
2.6 Once logged on, you will be prompted twice to set your new PIN (your choice of between 5 and 8 numerical digits.) Please make sure you remember this new PIN, since this is what the RSA SecurID application will require in future to generate Token Codes. Once you have selected Save PIN, you will be prompted to submit another PIN for the second time, as per the image below. 2.7 Type your PIN (The 5 to 8-digit PIN entered previously) into the RSA SecurID (Enter PIN) then click on the arrow. Use this new generated passcode and type it in on the new PIN option on Pulse Connect Secure website. NOTE: Wait for the RSA SecurID token code to change and then submit the same PIN and Confirm PIN again. This will complete your PIN registration Step 4: Logon to Remote Connection 3.1 Open the RSA SecurID Client and enter your PIN, then click the arrow to the right of the Enter PIN field. Page 7 of 8
3.2 Open the Pulse Secure Client 3.3 Enter your PIN into the RSA SecurID Client 3.4 Select the SASOL Remote Connect option in the Pulse Secure Client 3.5 Specify your Logon User ID which in this case will be your e-mail address in the Pulse Secure Client 3.6 Copy the RSA SecurID generated Token code and paste into the Pulse Secure Client 3.7 Click on Connect 3.8 You might be prompted with a Certificate Validation screen in which you must select Connect again. 3.9 You are now successfully logged onto the Sasol Network Environment.
