M-Password s 3 M-Password s Introduction This document lists M-Password applications actions available for access or restriction.

4 M-Password s Key Concepts M-Password s M-Password allows system administrators to grant or deny access to specific applications and applications functions. Figure 1 is an example of the Actions/Users Association dialog box. The items on the left tree control are the application names. The child items of the application names are the application functions that can be protected. The items in the tree control on the right are the users and groups defined in the M-Password database. The child items of the users and groups are the application names and actions enabled for that user or group. The next sections list what functions are available to protect for each application. M-Password s 5 Analog Profile s Refer to the Analog Profile User s Guide (LIT-655350) for details. M-Password s 9 BACnet OLE for Process Control (OPC) s The following levels are used for limiting which commands can be sent to objects in N30/N31 Supervisory Controllers based on the N30 Password scheme. Refer to the Object Dictionary for details. The following actions can be protected in BACnet OPC: Table 9: BACnet OPC s Level 1 - Configure Allows Configure rights for Commands. (Can create, add, delete, upload, and download.) Note: To duplicate full Configure rights, must also grant Levels 2-5. Level 2 - Modify Allows Editing of objects through Controls and N30. Modify rights for Commands. (Can release, release all, change attributes, enable, and disable objects.) Note: To duplicate full Modify rights, must also grant Levels 3-5. Level 3 - Supervise Level 4 - Intervene Level 5 - Operate Allows Supervise rights for Commands. (Can override at Command Priority 8, Operator Override.) Note: To duplicate full Supervise rights, must also grant Levels 4-5. Allows Intervene rights for Commands. Can set time and date, declare points Out of Service, Lock/Unlock loads, and Cancel Timer.) Note: To duplicate full Intervene rights, must also grant Level 5. Allows Operate rights for N30 Commands. (Can only view attribute details.)
