Operating System Patch Requirements To ensure the stable performance of the PerformaSure Nexus and PerformaSure Agents, your operating system must have the minimum maintenance patches required to run J2SE applications. Patch requirements are available at the following URLs: AIX: http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/aix/service.html AIX 5L 5.2 and 5.3 require patches to run JDK 1.3 and 1.4 VMs; see the URL listed above for the latest patch requirements. The AIX 5L 5.2 operating system requires additional patches: AIX 5.2: IY52141 SYSTEM CRASH CAUSED BY BPF http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=isg1iy52141 Note: The perfagent.tools package from IBM must be installed so that PerformaSure can monitor system metrics on AIX. Without the libraries in this package, the PerformaSure System Agent will be unable to start. If you do not have perfagent.tools installed, you can get it from your AIX install media from IBM.
