Chapter 3: Editing Basic Information with the HTML Module The HTML Module is the most commonly used module for entering, editing and deleting content. Editing Content Areas To edit a module, click on the Edit button on the left hand side of the screen. See figure below. The screen after the Edit button is clicked. 10

Note: You will see all of the panes that exist in the current Clayton State template. Please concentrate on the panes the current content exists. The boxes have the ability to add text (the first button), images (the second button) and new modules (the third button). Click directly in the box where the text needs to be updated. The box that appears is outline with orange. This inline editor has minimal editing tools. See figure below The advanced editor can still be used in the new version. Click on the last button that has two arrows. See figure below. 11

The advanced editor figure. All of the features in this editor are the same as the current version. Evoq 8 gives the user the ability to preview the page on the desktop, tablet and mobile before saving (publishing) the page. This can be viewed by clicking on the eye icon. See figure below. 12

Evoq 8 is a little bit different when it comes to editing and saving your edits. When in the advanced editor, the option for save is now close. In order to save all changes, click the Close button. See the figure below for how to save all changes made on the page. After the Publish button is clicked, the page will exit out of edit mode. 13

If one of the menus on the right is visible, click View Site to return to the page. Adding images to the portal The ability to upload more than one image at a time has been added in Evoq 8. Drag multiple files at one to the blue box below. Also, this version gives a bigger thumbnail for each image. Images is 14

Adding Documents to the portal In addition to adding multiple images at a time, the same can be done with documents. Docs is selected in the dropdown menu next to the title Assets. Make sure you chose the correct location to import your documents. Documents posted in docs folder. 15

Chapter 4: Version Control Each page can be reverted back ten times. Version control is seen after the page has been saved the first time. If one edit is complete and doesn t look correct, then contact the Web team for help. When the eleventh edit has been saved, then the first edit has been removed. Evoq 8 allows the user to 16

view the changes before saving which will reduce the number of versions. Version control is located under page settings while in edit mode. Versions can also be compared now. See figures below. Chapter 5: Add a new page In order to add a new page to the departmental website, hover over manage and select Pages. Click on the blue button, Add Page. See figure below. 17
