Epson TM-T88 Receipt Printer Setup Step 1. Install EverLogicDMS.exe.config file by following the steps below. Ctrl + click on http://www.everlogic.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/posconfig.zip Double click on the POSConfig.zip file that appears in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. You will be redirected to the Compressed Folder Tools page. Click on Downloads. If POSConfig.zip doesn t appear in your bottom left corner, click on your document folder icon. When the Documents page appears click on Downloads.
Either method will bring you to the Downloads page. Right Click on POSConfig.zip. Click on Extract All
The Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders page will appear. Now things get a little tricky. You need to change the address that is highlighted above to the EverLogic DMS directory. Follow these steps to find and copy the location of the EverLogic DMS directory on your computer. Click on your Document folder icon. Highlight This PC Documents. This is where you are going to begin searching for the EverLogic DMS directory.
Type %appdata% in address bar and click Enter. The Roaming page will appear. Click on EverLogic DMS. Copy the address ending in EverLogic DMS in the address bar.
Click on your Document folder icon. Click on Downloads. Right click on POSConfig.zip. Click on Extract All
The Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders page will appear. Now paste the location of EverLogic DMS into the address bar of the Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders page.
When the Roaming page appears, right click on EverLogic DMS. Click on Paste. You have now installed EverLogicDMS.exe.config.
Step 2. Click here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5355 to install Microsoft Point of Service for.net v1.12. When the Microsoft Download Center opens, click Download and follow the directions from Microsoft. Step 3. Install Epson OposadkforNet file by following the steps below. The Epson software can be downloaded from the manufacture s site. You do have to register, which is free http://www.epson-pos.com/modules/pos/index.php?page=soft&scat=39 or from the CD that came with the printer. If you are using the CD, and it does not auto load, double click the CD drive and click Install. Choose your language and then click Next.
When the InstallShield Wizard pops up, click Next to continue. The License Agreement will come up.
Select, I accept the terms of the license agreement and then click Next. When the Setup Type comes up, ensure that your type is Developer and then click Next.
Select USB as your communication method and then click Next. When Start Copying Files comes up, just click Next.
Setup Status will come up. Do nothing until it has finished installing. The InstallShield Wizard has now completed. Click Finish.
On Microsoft 7 or older, left click on the Start icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. If EPSON OPOS for.net is not here, click All Programs. Click on EPSON OPOS for.net and then click on SetupPOS.
If SetupPOS for OPOS.NET comes up like this you will not need to add your printer. If SetupPOS for OPOS.NET comes up and this box is empty, you will need to add your printer.
Click the Add button. The Add Device box will open.
Select the correct Device Name for your printer from the drop down box and then click Next. When the Connection Interface comes up you need to choose the correct Port Type.
The Port Type you want to choose is USB.
Select OPOS ADK for.net Ver.1.12.10 and click Next and then Install
Set up type should be Developer. Click Next. Setup Type defines the connection between your computer and the Epson printer. I have a USB connect. Next to continue This step may take several minutes.
Click Next when finished and the Epson Software Install screen is still installing. A successful install has been completed. You can run a Printing Test here if you wish, else click Finish
From the Start tab, select Epson OPOS for.net/setuppos When the SetupPOS opens you may or may not have a device listed. My Device Name is TM-T88V
If there is no device listed, Click Add. When Add was clicked, the Printer has defaulted some values. If you want a different device name, it can be updated.
Click Done and you now have a POS Printer Identified. It s name is PosPrinter
Setup in EverLogic Determine your workstation name. If using Windows XP or Windows 7, on Computer right click and select Properties. If using Windows XP there will be a tab that says Computer Name. Windows 7 displays the computer name on the main tab as shown below. In EverLogic, from the System Setup tab, Workstations. Select the workstation you have identified. On the 2 nd tab enter the Epson device name. THESE VALUES MUST MATCH When closing a Part Invoice if you want the receipt to automatically print, set System Rule, InvoicePrint to Receipt In the EverLogic Folder, place the EverLogicDMS.EXE.COnfig file. This is stored on the shared drive.
