Enrollments due February 1, 2017 Log on to 4honline: ne.4honline.com Note: Google Chrome is the preferred browser. A free download is available on the website. 4Honline will not work in the Explorer or Safari browsers.

Select I need to set up a profile. Each 4-H household will have a profile. Select the correct County (Wayne) from the drop down menu. The email address will be used as the user/access id. Enter an email address you use and create a password. Be sure to remember your login/password as you will use it each time you login to 4Honline. There is an I forgot my password option if you do forget. There will be an option later in enrollment to add additional email addresses. This is a required field, so there must be data in the field or you won't be able to continue. If you do not have an email, make up a false email in an email format using your first initial last name@noemail.com (for example: l gansebom@noemail.com). Please use @noemail.com so no emails will accidently be sent. Last Name - Please enter the household last name (i.e. Head of household last name/4-h parent(s). Select Create Login 2

Family Information Complete the required profile information. If all members of your family live at the same location, select Update member records with the same address. This will save you from re-entering the same information over and over again. Select whether you would prefer to receive the newsletter via email or mail. *You do not need to change your password* Select Continue Wayne 3

Adding a member to the Family On the left of the screen you may review your family profile information and make any edits needed by selecting Edit Family. To add youth in your household, select Youth from the drop down option and select Add Member. 4

Youth Personal Information Now enter information for one specific youth in the household. You may choose to change the email address to the youth s email if so preferred. The *asterisk areas are required, all other fields are optional. *Please enter the number of years you have been a 4-H member. If you accept text message, please enter your cell number and cell phone carrier. We plan to use this feature. This is also where you can select a second household to receive correspondence for this particular youth. Wayne 5

Youth Personal Information (cont.) Although not *asterisked, the following fields are required: Ethnicity, Race, Residence, and Military Service. 6

School Information Select your school s county, school district, and school name from the dropdown menus. Home schooled youth should use the unable to locate your school in the list above option, type in the name of their school and select the school type from the drop down menu. Finally, choose your grade from the dropdown menu. Select Continue 7

Code of Conduct and Waivers The following page consists of the waivers we ask you to be aware of. Please read through each and have the youth and parent sign as requested. These include: the 4-H Youth/Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct, Shooting Sports Participation Code of Conduct (for shooting sports members only), Permission to Treat, Participate, and Release of Claims, Photo Release, Survey Release, and Youth Protection Policy. It is also required that you enter the year of graduation for the youth. Select Continue Laurie Gansebom Laurie Gansebom 2024 8

Health Form The health information is optional. However, if the 4-H members goes to a 4-H camp or participates in state or national events, we highly recommend you fill it out. Examples include Ponca Day Camp, PASE, State 4-H Camp, etc. You can always log in to your account and complete at a later date. Select Continue Add a Club Select your club from the drop down menu and select Add Club. If you are in more than one club, add them all. Please mark which one is your primary club. Independent Study members choose "Wayne County Independent Members." Clover Kids can only be in one club and should choose Clover Kids. Select Continue 9

Adding Projects The next step is to choose the projects you wish to enroll in. Projects are listed in the drop-down box in curriculum area order. The enclosed 2017 Wayne County Project List will help. Choose one, select Add Project, then you may add more but remember to click the Add Project button after adding each project. Continue adding projects until you have added all the projects you are considering for county fair. Clover Kids choose the project Clover Kids: General Clover Kids Program. Note: To participate in Shooting Sports, youth must be enrolled in the Sharp Shooters 4-H Club or the club must have a certified leader in the discipline the 4-Her wants to participate in. Years in Project can be left at 1. You can log back into your account and add projects. Once all your projects are entered, Select Continue. Do not choose a group, select Continue. Invoice and Payment Wayne County does not charge a fee, select Continue on each screen until you can Submit Enrollment 10

Enrolling More Members to a Family You will then have the ability to enroll another youth for your same household/family following the same steps when you select Add Youth. You may copy the parent information from the first youth you registered. Follow the same steps as you did for the first youth until all youth in your household are enrolled. The enrollment status will show pending until the information is confirmed by the Extension Staff. You will receive a confirmation email when the registration has been approved. Those not providing an email will receive confirmation in the mail. Enrolling Adult Volunteers to a Family To add adult volunteers (organizational and project leaders) in your household, select Adult from the drop down option in the Member List screen and select Add Member. Additional Information Screen You will need to read and agree to Volunteer Screening, sign and agree to the Volunteer Code of Conduct, and sign and choose yes or no from the dropdown menu for the Photo Release. All new volunteers must complete a Volunteer Screening Form. Volunteers must also be rescreened every 4 years on a district rotation. Our district was rescreened in 2016. Forms are available from your organizational leader or by clicking the Volunteer Screening Form link in the NEW Volunteer Screening Form section. Complete, print and bring the completed form to the Extension Office for our signature. Select Continue Add a Club Select a club and a volunteer type (Organizational or Project Leader) within that club from the dropdown menu, then select Add Club. Select Continue Add a Project The next step is to choose the projects you provide leadership for if you are a project leader in the club you volunteer with. Projects are listed in the drop-down box in curriculum area order. Scroll to the bottom of the list and look for those that begin with Volunteer. The enclosed 2017 Wayne County Project List will help. Choose one, select Add Project, then you may add more but remember to click the Add Project button after adding each project. Continue adding projects until you have added all the projects you help with. Once all your projects are entered, select Continue. Do not choose a group, select Continue. Invoice and Payment Wayne County does not charge a fee, select Continue on each screen until you can Submit Enrollment. Those not providing an email will receive confirmation in the mail. Once complete with everyone s registration, log out in the upper right corner of the screen. Thank you for enrolling! Please remember to pay the $2.00/4-Her or Volunteer to renew the 4-H Accident Insurance and $5.00/family to help cover the County Fair Food Stand pie expenses! Volunteer participation in the insurance coverage is optional. Clover Kids are asked to pay $2.00/Clover Kid to renew the 4-H Accident Insurance. Checks can be made payable to the Wayne County 4-H Council. 12
