Configuring Switchvox SMB 4.5 for Spitfire SIP Trunks This document is a guideline for configuring Spitfire SIP trunks onto Switchvox SMB and includes the settings required for Inbound DDI routing and Outbound CLI presentation. The settings contained within have been tested and are known to work at the time of testing. SIP trunk details such as account number and password will be provided separately. Provisioning a SIP Trunk Select SIP Provider & click on Go next to Add New 2
Add New SIP Provider 1. SIP Provider Name: Enter a logical name for the SIP Trunk in SIP Provider Name 2. Your Account ID: Enter the User name as supplied by Spitfire. Please note that this is just the number and DOES NOT include @spitfiretsp.net 3. Your Password: Enter the password as supplied by Spitfire 4. Hostname/IP Address: Enter 83.218.143.16 (or spitfiretsp.net) 5. Callback Extension: This is determined by the installer 6. Default Fax Extension: Determined by the installer 7. DTMF Mode: Leave at RFC2833 Then click on Click to Show Advanced Options 3
Add New SIP Provider continued Peer Settings 1 8. Host Type: Leave the Host Type as Provider 9. Host is a Switchvox PBX: Leave at No 10. Treat system s users: No 11. Jabber Hostname: Leave Blank 12. Incoming Call Rules: Leave at Yes 13. Outgoing call Rules: Determined by the installer 4
Add New SIP Provider continued Caller ID Settings 2 14. Supports Changing Caller ID: Change to Yes 15. Caller ID Method: Change to Remote-Party-ID 16. Caller ID Name: Determined by the Installer 17. Caller ID Number: Enter the User name as supplied by Spitfire without the leading 44. Please note that this is just the number and DOES NOT include @spitfiretsp.net. This is the number that will be presented if there is no individual CLI presentation per extension. 5
Add New SIP Provider continued Connection Settings 3 18. SIP Port: Leave at 5060 19. SIP Expiry: Maximum of 3600. Change to a minimum of 600 seconds 20. Proxy Host: Change the Proxy Host to mproxy3.spitfiretsp.net 21. Authentication User: This is copied from the Account ID. Leave as is 22. Always Trust: Leave at Yes 23. Qualify Hosts: Leave at No 24. Include User=: Leave at No 25. Use Local Address: Leave at No 26. SIP Provider Host List: Leave empty 6

Inbound Routing continued 1. Route All: Voice Calls 2. On Number: Enter the DDI number in the format 44xxxxxxxxxx (as below) 3. From: Change to SIP Provider 4. In the new drop-down box: Select the name you have given to the trunk (Spitfire in this case) 5. To Extension: Enter the extension number you wish to route the call to and click Save. 10
Outgoing CLI Reference only Select Add New Caller ID Rule Note: In this instance I am configuring a single Caller ID Rule. The installer can also block program Caller ID Rules Once a Caller ID Rule has been added configure it as below 1. When extension: Enter the extension you wish to change the CLI on 2. Outgoing call through: Enter the Route related to the trunk (called Spitfire Route in this case) 3. Caller ID Name: Enter the name if required 4. Caller ID Number: Enter the CLI number in the format below (i.e. drop the leading 44 from the DDI number) and click Save 11
