Location Based Service Research Design Research and Interaction Design Convergence This project was aimed at renovating location based social services. This service (called Place) was not that popular, so we were trying to figure out what users really wants. We conducted user diaries in our research. All the participants provided us with their location based social service check- in records for a week. We reviewed those journals and picked a couple of pin point areas to focus on in interviews and through observation of how they used those services. After the interviews, we focused on social and information services. We were trying to combine this with a map service. (the company has a very strong positioning in map services). Based on key features and user insights we developed a couple of wireframes and interactions guides. 1 2 3 6 7 4 5 1~3. Photos of user research 4~5. LBS trend research 6~7. New concept development

New Product Platform for Family Bonding School Work Strategic Planning+ Interaction Design Convergence The goal of this project is providing a set of recommendations to solve the current problems of the modern families - lack of communication, no sharing experience because of busy, individual life style - therefore enhancing quality family experiences and unity within the family. We designed a system that enables all of the family members to interconnect their diverse media with user-friendly ease. The system consists of one big family board and personal boards for each member of the family. It make it possible for all personal devices to interconnect with one another, including mp3 player, PMPs, and cell phones. To this end, we provide services and contents that families can use to communicate with each other and share their individual experiences. Based on K.I.S.S (Keep It Short, Simple) interface, our system offers enjoyable user experiences by providing families with an intuitive user interface. This interface makes the system easy to deploy and use, motivating users to participate in its use. Planning a family trip 1 2 3 4 5 6 Father in business trip 1. Product 2. User Scenario 3.
