Please move forward with Stage 2 of the PERM 33 COM as we finalize the detailed design. At this point I only have 1 comment regarding the access plan submission. The base course asphalt only needs to be 3.5 think not the 8 shown on the plans. Once stage 2 of the PERM 33 COM and the SEQRA process is complete we can move to issuing a highway work permit. We are working on a proposed lodging facility along NYS Route 44/55 in the Town of Gardiner that will need a new driveway for the proposed 70 cabins as well as a separate lobby structure. The property is currently accessed with a farm driveway that is east of the proposed driveway. We looked at the 8th Edition ITE Trip Generation Report and get 34 PM Saturday Peak trips per hour for Resort Hotel 330.
