Cooling is optimised using sensors to continuously monitor temperature and humidity throughout Intellicentre 2 and adjust it in response to changes in demand. Combining high raised floors with variable speed drives on all pumps and fans provides balanced cooling, and by utilising cold-aisle containment, we ensure cold air reaches the tops of your racks in the most efficient manner. Optimal Power Utilisation Efficiency (PUE) is at the heart of Intellicentre 2. PUE is obtained by dividing the amount of power entering a data centre by the power used to run the computer infrastructure within it. The design goal for Intellicentre 2 is an industry leading PUE rating of 1.3, eclipsing the PUE of many of the country s existing data centres. Through the core design of Intellicentre 2, you will save money by virtue of lower power costs, compared with any facility you could build on your own. Beyond the data centre experience.
