We have achieved this by deploying machine learning and data mining algorithms to automate the process of searching through all available lots and flagging the ones that are most relevant to you and your business. You will find our recommended lots in two places on our platform on your business s personalised dashboard and on every lot details page. Each situation uses a different approach to recommend lots and is described in more detail below. All recommendations are computed every minute or every day, so we can capture new lots as soon as they are made available. Please also note that we will not recommend any lots that have less than 90 seconds to closing we will only recommend those on which you have a reasonable chance of placing a bid. 8.2 Recommendations on Trader Dashboards 77

Our trading platform uses your bidding history to understand which vehicle types you have demonstrated a strong preference for in the past. It then uses this information to automatically search through all available lots and bring to your attention only those lots that best reflect your preferences. 8.3 Recommendations on Lot Details Pages Sometimes it is necessary to find alternative lots to one you are currently viewing for example, you may have been recently outbid. These alternatives could be different lots for the same vehicle type or for alternative vehicle types that could substitute for the one currently in consideration. Our platform will first of all find all other available lots for the same vehicle type. Then, it will combine this list with lots for vehicle types that your fellow traders most often turn-to when they need other options. We can do this, because our platform can identify patterns in global bidding behaviour between all possible vehicle types. 78
