01 / Introduction Following on from the huge success of the second Annual GovDC Marketplace Event last year, I am delighted to announce the show will return in 2018. The NSW Government Digital Communities service (GovDC) is again partnering with Public Sector Network (PSN) to deliver a premium one-day conference. The event will be held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse on Thursday 13 September 2018. More than 1300 delegates and 40 plus solution providers participated last year, making it one of the largest meetings of public and private stakeholders in Australia. As the NSW Government digital community continues to grow, so too does the Marketplace event. This year, we have increased the space at the venue to accommodate a larger number of attendees and exhibitors, as well as more conference space and speaking sessions. The agenda will focus on leading case studies within NSW, including Ministerial keynotes, a CIO panel, and presentations from the (DFSI). With the growing importance of cyber security, we will have a dedicated track on the topic, along with a track on digital transformation. Our exhibition hall will provide a physical representation of the digital marketplace, facilitating key introductions between buyers and sellers. This year we will have exhibitors from both government and industry presenting innovative technologies and digital initiatives. DFSI and PSN forward to welcoming you onsite at what is becoming a landmark event for the NSW public sector. If you would like to learn more about how to get involved please contact the team at PSN, details enclosed. Regards, Simon Geraghty Executive Director Government Technology Platforms, Department of
