4 More liberty in planning and design a full range of intelligent compact drives for the full range of applications. 5 The Programme. Connected too the Future Removal Fieldbus Logic electronics Removal deactivated: motor is driven via power electronics communication with logic active Fieldbus Logic electronics Removal activated: power electronics is switched off safely - communication with logic active Removal Removal All important fieldbus interfaces such as Profibus DP, CANopen, DeviceNet and RS 485 are available. The IclAeasy software tool and the software library provide for easy commissioning. The units are controlled, parameterised and diagnosed via the fieldbus. The different IclA versions feature everything you need. Two different connection technologies are available: printed circuit board connectors, which are ideal for series machines and cable looms, or industrial connectors for special machines and small batch sizes. An integrated power supply unit supplies the four free digital inputs and outputs. This way, limit switches can be wired directly to the drive and long cables are not required. The integrated Removal function complies with safety level SIL2 according to IEC61508 and category 3 according to EN 954-1. The control function Safe Stop can be implemented for stop categories 0 and 1. Motion Controller
6 The IclA team of specialists: Numerous common features for easy commissioning and particular strengths of the individual components 7 The IclA Team. Specialists for a Great Range of Applications IclA IFA the specialist for dynamics Equipped with an AC synchronous servo motor, it excels with superior dynamic characteristics in the acceleration phase since it can be supplied with an over current for a short period of time. Various winding types allow for adaptation to the application. The closed loop drive system features a high-resolution encoder. The IclAeasy tool is used for commissioning and diagnostics. Options include: planetary gearbox, absolute position feedback, holding brake and connection acessories. IclA IFE the specialist for flexibility Equipped with 3-phase synchronous motors (brushless DC motors), it excels with a high detent torque. An additional holding brake is usually not required. The IclA IFE electronics offer the facility of absolute position feedback. Referencing after shutting down is no longer required. Options include: spurwheel gearbox or planetary gearbox for optimum adjustment to the application as well as connection accessories. Specifications Torque Peak torque Speed IclA IFA 6x Positioning resolution 0.022 0.25 Nm to 0.66 Nm 0.43 Nm to 1.26 Nm Up to 9,000 rpm (without gearbox) Fieldbus interface Profibus DP, CANopen, DeviceNet, RS 485 Referencing, point-to-point, velocity, electronic gear Baud rate, network address and terminal resistance via DIP switch; free configuration of the four signal inputs and outputs, e.g. as limit switch or stop input Safety function Removal: Stop categories 0 and 1 according to EN 60204-1 Specifications IclA IFE 71 Torque 3.1 Nm to 11 Nm with spurwheel gearbox; 0.26 Nm (without gearbox) Speed 35 rpm to 270 rpm with spurwheel gearbox; 4,900 rpm (without gearbox) Detent torque Positioning resolution 1 Nm to 8 Nm with spurwheel gearbox 0.26 to 1.667 (with gearbox) Fieldbus interface Profibus DP, CANopen, DeviceNet, RS 485 Referencing, point-to-point, velocity mode Baud rate, network address and terminal resistance via DIP switch; free configuration of the four signal inputs and outputs, e.g. as limit switch or stop input Safety function Removal: Stop categories 0 and 1 according to EN 60204-1
8 9 IclA IFS the specialist for precision With its stepping motor, IclA IFS offers high torque at low speeds. It is a space-saving solution since a gearbox is generally not required. The compact drive is highly suitable for high-resolution positioning and excels with superior constant velocity characteristics. Plug and play: set the current and the unit is commissioned! Options include: planetary gearbox for optimum adjustment to the application, connection accessories, brake for IclA IFS 9x. Application Example in the Printing Industry The machine set-up is automated with the IclA IFE. From the automation of the impression cylinder to the deflection unit, all the way to the folding unit settings. The intelligent compact drives replace complex mechanical solutions and reduce set-up times. Application Example in the Wood Processing Industry: Multi-blade circular sawing machines use laser beams as optical extension of the blades for measuring the boards. Linear axes with IclA IFS are used for laser positioning. Due to the harsh environment, the control cabinets are located far away from the machine. The decentralised concept dramatically reduces wiring. Specifications IclA IFS 6x IclA IFS 9x Torque 0.45 to 1.5 Nm (without gearbox) 2 to 6 Nm (without gearbox) Speed Up to 2,000 rpm (without gearbox) Up to 1,000 rpm (without gearbox) Positioning resolution 0.018 Fieldbus interface Profibus DP, CANopen, RS 485 Referencing, point-to-point, velocity mode Baud rate, network address and terminal resistance via DIP switch; free configuration of the four signal inputs and outputs, e.g. as limit switch or stop input Safety function Removal: Stop categories 0 and 1 according to EN 60204-1 Application Example in the CD/DVD Production The entire process from the removal of the CD/DVD from the moulding unit to the finished CD/DVD is automated. IclA IFA increased the productivity by approx. 20% while reducing the production space by approx. 10%.
