4 TC INT s main competence Testing, building and enabling excellence in a multivendor and multi provider environment, bringing forward ETSI excellence Writing test specifications based on the 3GPP requirements for Core Network. Core Network Testing Specification under 3GPP mandate Developing Technical specifications with the aim of ensuring not only interoperability but also revenue assurance. Bringing together Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE)

5 Terms of Reference Develop Core Network test specifications (interoperability, conformance, performance, security) based on 3GPP and NTECH specifications. Initiate and supervise interoperability events (such as Plugtests) related to Core Networks as well as other events (workshops and seminars). Coordination of interoperability efforts with other organisations GSMA. Endorsement of test specifications from/to other SDOs e.g. ITU-T.

TC INT Vision towards 2020 TC INT members use standardization to drive technology, to get knowledge about market trends to lay ground for future business with the required knowledge for implementation. Co-operation between network players leads to increased revenues and time to market reduction due to Interoperability of systems and products developed and tested against technical specifications written by industry and Conformance and Benchmarked against Key Performance Indicators.

TC INT Vision towards emerging networks and 5G 5G will be the next major phase of mobile telecommunications standards beyond the current 4G standards. Pre-standardization PoC will provide feedback to the entire eco-system to standardize future networks. 3GPP TS 23.501 is starting addressing 5G architecture Interoperability and testing of 5G standards will ensure network optimization and Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) from an end-user s perspective.

EG 203 341 Approaches for Testing Adaptive Networks Published in June 2016 Definition of a framework of testing principles and guidelines that may be used to test networks that exhibit autonomous, adaptive behavior, which allows them to dynamically change their configuration, structure or operational parameters. Focus on scenarios where adaptive elements or functions are deployed in a network, in various combinations, producing an environment that cannot be characterized by traditional static and dynamic conformance requirements. The document concentrates on methodologies to test adaptive networks towards meeting their functional targets or policies, and ensuring a minimum trust level for autonomous operation of the Adaptive Network (AN).

Security Robustness and reliability of BIG DATA, Cloud systems, and digital commerce require secure of private and confidential user data. Interoperability and conformance testing of protocols and interfaces for the Applications Servers, IP Networks, IP Transport belonging to Core Network elements.

vepc Testing Comprehensive testing of vepc solutions New methodology, starting from the current end-toend EPC testing solutions and including the specific metrics resulting from the software deployment on top of common hardware infrastructures through virtualization. The methodology will extend both the measured metrics towards the relevant cloud environments Test specification will be defined, including a set of tests which cover cloud specific functionality such as scaling and resilience, along with the performance tests.
