. Introduction.. Purpose of the document The document describes the differences of the CLS licensing process between this product (feature) and the standard process of HiPath License Management (see document License Guidelines). 2. Product Information 2.. General a) The quantity of feature H3000 V6.0 ComScendo Security must be equal to the license sum of feature H3000 V6.0 ComScendo IP Workpoint and feature H3000 V6.0 B-Channel HG500. b) For each license of feature H3000 V6.0 opticlient Attendant Upg V6.0 to V7.0 a CD-key has to be entered. During the activation process this feature is transformed to feature H3000 V6.0 opticlient Attendant V7.0. c) There exists a free Upgrade from HG 500 (HiPath 3000 V4.0) to HiPath 3000/5000 V6.0. d) There exists a free Upgrade from HiPath 3000/5000 V5.0 to HiPath 3000/5000 V6.0. e) There exists a free Upgrade from HiPath 5000 RSM V4.0 to HiPath 3000/5000 V6.0. 2.2. 7. License Transfer Nothing special 8. Upgrade 8.. HG 500 H3000 V6.0 With this upgrade (for free) you can upgrade standalone licensed HG 500 boards to a central licensed HiPath 3000 / 5000. As a result of the upgrade the HG 500 licenses are disabled and new licenses for the HiPath 3000 / 500 are created. Upgrade workflow: a) Select either menu View used Licenses or Upgrade License. b) Search for the existing HG 500 system and click View Details. c) Click on button Upgrade License. d) On page Upgrade Validation please select the target (HiPath 3000/5000) version with the upgrade path selection drop down. You can either select to upgrade to HiPath 3000 / 5000 V5.0 or HiPath 3000 / 5000 V6.0. Be aware that it is not possible to downgrade from V6.0 to V5.0. e) Click button Next. f) On page License Key Generation Details you have to enter the MAC address of the HiPath 3000 mainboard. g) Complete the upgrade process like any other license activation. Two preinstalled B-Channels will not be upgraded (and disabled) because the HiPath 3000/5000 enables for each HG 500 board two additional B-Channels that are not licensed. 8.2. H3000 V5.0 H3000 V6.0 With this upgrade (for free) you can upgrade a V5.0 system to V6.0. As a result of the upgrade all V5.0 features are disabled and corresponding V6.0 features are created. Upgrade workflow: a) Select either menu View used Licenses or Upgrade License. b) Search for the existing HiPath 3000 / 5000 V5.0 system and click View Details. c) Click on button Upgrade License. d) On page License Key Generation Details you can enter the Alias Name only. The MAC address of the H3000 mainboard cannot be changed during the upgrade. e) Complete the upgrade process like any other license activation.
