Introduction Introduction: Heating control plays an important role in building technology. The most energy is consumed in heating buildings. With intelligent control, the effort is reduced while the level of convenience increases. Continue with any key. Process In the following learning unit, you will simulate parameterising the heating function in the ETS. Page of 22 02.203

3 Adapting parameters in the window actuator As a rule, an 8-bit variable should be selected for communication between the room temperature controller (RTC) in the push button sensor 3 Plus and the actuator. The 8-bit variable has the advantage that it can be connected directly to boiler control later. The boiler control adapts the flow temperature to the actual heating requirement. The heating requirement of a house is reflected in the variables of the radiator and floor valves. Now change the variable to byte / 8bit. Click the ( ) dropdown button... Page 5 of 22 02.203
Click the constant ( byte) ( ) list item. 02.203 Page 6 of 22
Release cyclical monitoring of the variable. Here, a telegram is expected from the actuator with the variable from the push button sensor at a cyclical interval of approx. 5 minutes. If this fails to arrive, the actuator prevents the radiator from freezing. Click the ( ) dropdown button.. Page 7 of 22 02.203

Next, parameterise the push button sensor 3 Plus. Click the ( ) tree entry.. 02.203 Page 0 of 22
The push button sensor 3 Plus has its own software for parameterisation, known as a plug-in. Click the ( ) button... Page of 22 02.203
Reveal the parameters of room temperature control. Click the ( ) tree entry.. 02.203 Page 2 of 22
2 3 In the room temperature parameters, there is an option of comparing the sensors. Click the Room temperature measurement ( ) tree entry.. Following a reference measurement in the room, the deviation is set in this parameter and the push button sensor 3 Plus is calibrated using it. In this example, the difference should be 0.K. In the following, you will change the Internal sensor calibration parameter to a value of.k. Click the 0 input field. Now delete the zero in the value field. Press the key. Enter into the field. You can simulate the input by pressing any key. Now exit the RTC plug-in again. Page 3 of 22 02.203
Click the OK ( ) button. With this you confirm the information. Now minimise the building structure to edit the group addresses. Click the ( ) button.. 02.203 Page 4 of 22
5 Assigning group addresses 2 In the following, you will connect the communication objects of the push button sensor and the actuator to group addresses. The group addresses shown in this example should be considered a recommendation for the group addresses which absolutely should be created. Only the variable is required for the basic equipment shown here. In addition, integrating the window contact is an important element to reduce automatically the used energy to a minimum when the window is opened. The actual temperature stands for the temperature measured in the room. With it, the building management has an overview of the existing values and could also represent them in graphs. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ( entry to the ( ) tree entry. ) tree Page 5 of 22 02.203
2 The setpoint temperature is the temperature which should be reached in the room. The setpoint temperature can be specified using a visualisation. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ( entry to the ( ) tree entry. ) tree 02.203 Page 6 of 22
2 Using the operating mode switch-over, you can put the room into the respective operating state of comfort, night-time reduction, standby or frost protection using a visualisation (HomeServer) your iphone or ipad. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ( entry to the ( ) tree entry. ) tree Page 7 of 22 02.203
2 The variable connects the push button sensor to the actuator which moves the valve. It specifies how far the valve should be opened or closed. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ( entry to the ( ) tree entry.. ) tree 02.203 Page 8 of 22
2 The open window normally sets the control to a variable of 7 C (frost protection). Using this, the room temperature is lowered as long as the window is open. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ( entry to the ( ) tree entry. ) tree Page 9 of 22 02.203
2 Now connect the group address of the variable to the window actuator. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ( entry to the ( ) tree entry. ) tree 02.203 Page 20 of 22
2 Now connect the group address of the window contact to the window actuator which evaluates the reed contact of the window. While keeping the left mouse button pressed, drag the ( entry to the ( ) tree entry. ) tree Page 2 of 22 02.203
