FLEXXITY TM Dailies Non-Linear Dailies Solution for On Set and Post

FLEXXITY Dailies Non-Linear Dailies Solution for On Set and Post FLEXXITY Dailies is a specialized and scalable software application that is part of the DFT Digital Film Technology FLEXXITY software platform. It manages the entire Dailies production process, from ingest to the creation of color-graded Dailies. Whether you are working in SD, HD, 2K, 4K material, using digital cinematography camera footage or ingesting content from a SCANITY film scanner, Spirit, or other devices such as VTRs, FLEXXITY Dailies offers a non-linear software approach that dramatically increases the efficiency of the entire Dailies process. Improving the Dailies Process FLEXXITY Dailies solution optimizes the Dailies process on set or in post in many ways: Unifies the workflows for digital and film dailies by handling both or a mixture of digital and film formats for each production Minimizes booking time in the Telecine suite, therefore saving money Improves the image quality of the dailies deliverables by enabling 2K, HD, and higher resolution workflows Enables collaborative and parallel workflows for higher throughput Automates the Dailies processes and eliminates mundane tasks Simply put, FLEXXITY Dailies excels where traditional linear Telecine-based Dailies production workflows fail - traditional workflows cannot keep track of new requirements such as multiple versions, arbitrary tape content, scene and take order, file based deliverables and more. It bridges the past and the present with the future by supporting both film and digital cinematography camera workflows. Functional All-Inclusive Dailies Toolset After the software ingests Dailies content or accesses files on connected storage, FLEXXITY Dailies provides the tools to edit and online conform a timeline in full resolution, and performs extremely fast on the spot sound synchronization including fit and fill resampling. It also features real-time image processing capabilities for color correction, 1D and 3D LUTS, cropping, and scaling, which removes the need for expensive color correction hardware. The software supports ASC based color grading and timeline remapping functions for direct interchange / integration with DI systems. Therefore, FLEXXITY Dailies can be used as a pre-di system saving time and saving creative decisions that were made during the Dailies process. Dailies to generate and output a variety of digital files as well as real-time SD/HD video versions. Create Many Files and Video Outputs Depending on the production, a variety of content delivery formats may be required; SD, HD video, Windows Media, QuickTime, MXF, AVI, MPEG. FLEXXITY Dailies provides a unique toolset to create and generate file, video and media formats from a variety of sources including DPX (Digital Picture Exchange), QuickTime and cinematography camera raw clips such as ARRIRAW or Red R3D. Background Rendering The complete FLEXXITY suite of software applications provides concurrent background rendering of file outputs while the creative work continues. The background rendering architecture for file outputs, scene change detetcion, image batch processing and ingest tasks automatically distributes the rendering to all available nodes in a cluster, which makes the optimum use of all available CPU and GPU resources. This helps facilities to maximize the workflow efficiency across their post production applications. 3D Stereoscopic Support The FLEXXITY software platform natively supports 2D and 3D stereoscopic productions, including stereo color matching and parallax adjustments. Template Driven FLEXXITY Dailies is a Linux-based software application that has been designed to utilize templates for processes and logical rules. This templatedriven process speeds up the creative and functional operations and helps reduce errors. User Friendly FLEXXITY Dailies features a user-friendly GUI for online editing and EDL on-line conforming, image and audio synchronization, real-time video playout of up to three parallel output channels and rendering to a great variety of file and video outputs. The final step in the Dailies workflow is for FLEXXITY 2 www.dft-film.com

Options Options can be purchased at any time via a software license. Options include; image / audio capture and conversion, secondary color correction and real-time grain reduction or contour enhancements. Optional dust busting tools include; semi-automatic dirt & scratch removal as well as a powerful retouch tool. Hardware FLEXXITY Dailies software runs on enterprise computer hardware. The system is configured based on your requirements for local storage, SAN (Storage Area Network) or NAS (Network Attached Storage) requirements. FLEXXITY Dailies is also available as software only product. Please verify with your DFT sales contact the minimum system requirements. Eliminate External Video to Data Conversion Interfaces Scalable 1 XX Users FLEXXITY Dailies is fully scalable, and is tailored to meet specific needs and budgets. Users can install one software seat for all Dailies tasks - audio and image ingest, sound synchronization, color correction and playout to tape or file based outputs. For workflow enhancements, FLEXXITY Dailies can be upgraded to two or more workstations, where one system is dedicated to ingest and preparation tasks, and the other system(s) is used in parallel for all other tasks. In a multiple seat configuration all tasks can be shared and performed in parallel - Telecine or tape transfers, audio preparation and sound synchronization, color correction and playout. The parallel workflow is possible by using a shared SQL database for all metadata and by connecting to a SAN (Storage Area Network) or NAS (Network Attached Storage) to share all images and audio clips. FLEXXITY Dailies feature set eliminates the need for external video to data conversion interfaces saving time and money.
